side note Todd. You're right these new Rupes Microfiber Fine Yellow pads ROCK! I was recently able to do an amazing one step correction with it on a huge black Chevy Silverado 3500 heavy duty truck. Top notch!

Hi Todd, big fan of your channel. Seeking your expert opinion and guidance. I have a 2020 Porsche Macan GTS with Black Metallic paint. Last summer, prior to your education by watching your channel, I had polished my car using Megs Ultimate Compound followed with Megs Ultimate Polish to help remove a lot of water spots. I then noticed in sunlight that minor fine swirls were introduced with some minor surface lines I assume were introduced by claying or other. I struggled to remove or get any improvement using Megs UC/UP and Pads with my Porter Cable 7424. I assume this may be related to your mention about Porsche soft paint. My plan based on your videos and in order to do a full correction is to buy and use Sonax Perfect Finish, using either RUPES D-A FINE MICROFIBER POLISHING PAD and/or Rupes Yellow DA Yellow Fine Foam Pad. Of course I would do a test section but based on your experience with Porsche Macan Black Metallic paint what combo would you suggest I start with. The polisher I plan to buy and use is the Rupes LHR15 Mark III. Also what do you recommend I use as a sealant or wax. I was thinking to use the Sonax POLYMER Net Shield spray. I want to minimize water spots from happening without going with a Ceramic Coating. I would really appreciate your suggestion and guidance on this. Thanks

The yellow polishing pad and Perfect Finish would be where we would start to determine what exactly it needs. The other thing you need to consider is how many pads you're using. To get a really good finish, I'd recommend one fresh pad per panel. As for protection, you should look at Gyeon Can Coat EVO. Also make sure that you watch our 5-steps polishing video. Test sections is not the end to all, but it´s a good start! Microfibre pads do need more product than foam."BUTT",there is still so much info that just get´s lost..... And I mean to the extreme.

I would implement this answer on many questions i also have on my KZbin or social media...on questions like "In what dilution i can clean my seats What product will clean my carpet What dilution on my wheels How strong my apc to clean my plastics' I don't know ,have to be some test on the spot to figure out

i dont understand why poeple want to dilute a a product that has been specified by a manufacturer and costs 12 bucks. you are putting hours into it on a lets say average 40k car, why are you trying to save 1 buck on a bottle and risk a worse result? boggles my mind

@@visker81 i don't understand what you say dear sir. Proffecional grade dilutable by design APCs or cleaners in general, HAVE to be diluted with water to work properly and safely , cannot be used straight. Or do you suggest to use, ready to use retail level non professional products on 40k cars?
