Hart is owned by TTI, who also owns Milwaukee, Ryobi, and most consumer Ridgid tools. Most Hart tools are pretty much rebranded Ryobi, though their cordless tools have different batteries. They basically made Hart power tools to expand their footprint to Walmart so they aren't so reliant on Home Depot. A good thing about Hart is that Walmart cycles through seasonal inventory a lot, so they put Hart stuff on clearance pretty often at ridiculous low prices.

Thank you. I’m a Milwaukee guy and people lose their Shit seeing me buy Hart or Ryobi. They are all made by TTI. They are just marketed and “Owned” by different names. Hart could go bankrupt, Milwaukee is profitable. That doesn’t mean they aren’t made by the same workers. It crazy to see how these companies share info and try out stuff in the lower priced companies then improve a few tiny things and the “Red” product is priced 4X higher. I still buy it though. So good for you TTI!

It’s also a way that they get to do real field research and see if their cheap parts can withstand recreational use versus professional abuse. I buy expensive for my tools that I use for a living (contractor) and try cheap when it comes to things I’ll use a few times a month. Like truck washing and mountain bike cleaning. I still think I’m going with the Ryobi 600psi brushless power washer for little cleaning projects.
@MrAbword3 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed they are! But let’s not act like hart is the EXACT same and just re-badged Milwaukee and painted blue and white. There’s something in these tools that make one cost more and the other cost less. I fell into the trap of believing that and got some hart drills for my construction/excavation business, man was I burned. The harts just couldn’t handle what my Milwaukees could. But for the cheap price, hart is the way to go for the DIYers who don’t need it everyday
@imjoshv3 жыл бұрын
Yep i did find that as well! Thanks for the comment. Like someone below said, hart probably isnt in the same class of components as milwaukee but its probably on par with ryobi

Just watched your other reviews, was pretty much set on the ryobi 1800 similiar one you used in your businesses, but I recently bought 3 tools from hart for 98$ why not try this pressure washer out, mainly going to use for cleaning the car with simple mud and dirt no big deal, also a question i had for you, If I get and aftermarket hose with the shortest option, like 20-25ft will that improve the psi ? Since it doesnt have to travel as much, thanks

Video Recommendation - Maintenance of foam cannons. Do you recommend disassembly and cleaning them out after use?
@jdgarage853 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t worry about cleaning the brass internals. The cheap plastic manufacturers use is more likely to break before any corrosion occurs.
@Matty.G.Weights3 жыл бұрын
I would say just leave it in water and clean the plastic bottle And josh j sounds like he's the type of guy to just leave shit thrown around and not actually take proper maintenance of his spent hard earned money.
@jdgarage853 жыл бұрын
@@Matty.G.Weights I’ve had a MTM cannon for 2 years and still works as good as the day I bought it! All you have to do is not leave soap in the bottle and let the lid dry. No need for some excessive maintenance it’s just common sense
@imjoshv3 жыл бұрын
Good idea... The main thing is just to run some clean water through it after each use. The main thing that effects performance is the filter inside because it can get gummed.
