I'm 18 years old. I stated smoking meth at 17 on December 19, 2020. Went on a 6 day binge and realized that I was missing cheer practices and important events. skipping school and other things. So I stopped and told my cheer coach what happened and practices after that were so challenging. I wasn't in the required shape to practice or compete but I finished my season clean and as soon as I got a long break I spiraled out. It's been 25 days and I haven't stopped smoking. Every single day I've smoked... I leave for Basic Training on June 28, 2021. and I've been spiraling out for so long. I don't even know how I'm going to do this... PLEASE HELP

Do whatever you need to do to make sure you don't fail that piss test for the military. Detox before would be a good idea. Once you get to basic, you'll get through it. Everything going on at boot camp will really help you not even think about meth. As soon as you finish basic, find meetings/support group ASAP.

I know, I've called ask for help but unable to get any for this reason. On the tv adds they act like the important thing is you getting help but it's a lie, money is the only thing that matters period. I've not tried for help since they pretty much said I'm not worth saving. This is our country. Most other countrys in the world will help if you need it.

I get where you're coming from. The way they explain the highs it's like "Man I'd love to understand what they felt and the dragon they wanted to keep chasing." If we lived in a reality free of consequences, I'd probably try every single drug just to understand the shift in perception, but it's just too dangerous. Besides when you really think about it, it's so pointless. You only get the peak high of whatever drug of you choose once, it ruins every experience both drug induced and sober afterwards, and it's also bad for your physical and mental well-being. Not even worth it.
