Dr. Ahmed has unveiled the truths from the darkness of falsehood. Muslim league didn't struggle for the freedom. Rather congress shouldered that responsibility. Muslim league had a very frivolous demand of a separate muslim state just to further the interests of the west. I congratulate aftab sir for this gumption of revealing true picture to the people.

I am very much glad to see this channel and thank you for the efforts you are putting to educate our generation. I am doing mphil in law at the Islamic university of Madinah munawwarah and my thesis is related to the constitution of Pakistan and its religious grounds. I am benefitting from all the discussions , suggestions and solutions you are putting up here. I don't disagree with the facts brought up by Dr. sahab, the British intention might have facilitated the struggle of Pakistan movement, but wasn't it for the better and safer future of the Muslims of the subcontinent and the Muslim world? weren't the Hindus planning to sideline the Muslims in the subcontinent? Don't we have better opportunities to excel as compared to the Muslims in India? provided with an honest leadership and a proper management, aren't we as Pakistan capable of bringing more success and glory to ourselves and to the Muslim world ? please discuss this matter as well

I disagree. Mountbatten and the British wanted India to remain united. They did their utmost to prevent partition. The cabinet mission plan was brought in and accepted by both Muslim league and INC (under Azad) in 1946 and the British and Jinnah didn’t torpedo this last chance to prevent partition. It was the next INC president (Nehru) who withdrew from the agreement and paved the way to partition. The divide and rule policy is a very easy plank to use for historians to explain why partition happened. It wasn’t as simple as what is stated in the video

Some interesting discussion on this thread. The key point to note is that Roosevelt wanted to combat Soviet communist influence by creating the Pakistani buffer state and that is what he advised Churchill. I hope that clarifies things.

PROBLEM with seculars is they always trying to find pathetic side of history. how simple they portrait western power and under estimate local struggle for independence. 1857 war of independence was not home grown , indigenous struggle? PAKISTAN, has a spiritual base, millions did not migrated just for no reason, it was a strong ideology, and muslim of Hindustan, never accepted british raj. they were in constant struggle since colonial powers step on sub continent. world war 1 & 2, brought so many destruction to the muslim world and like , abolishing of khilafat and carving almost 50 countries out of it. but same time Pakistan creation, against every odd. first Islamic ideological state.
