Whats weird is that she denied being pregnant but she was in her cheerleading outfit with a huge pregnant belly. Whats sad is that her Mom believed her. Her boyfriend and his Mom believed her, her family believed her but she had a huge pregnant belly. Its absolutely amazing how many people wanted to live in a delusion.

Some people are just in denial. This happen to my family as well when my sister got pregnant and everyone in the family noticed that she might be pregnant but didn't confront her and we were just thinking that she might be gaining weight. We're lucky that my sister told us about the pregnancy 2 months before giving birth and we told her that we already noticed it, we are just waiting for her to tell us. On this case, I think Alexi's mom is so controlling to her daughter and that's probably the reason why Alexi decided to hide her pregnancy. Can't blame Alexi however she needs to face the consequences of her actions.

I thank God both of our stories turned out like they did. It is awesome your mom helped you. Somehow reality came through for me when my water broke, and someone took me to a hospital. ( I didn't even know what had happened.) There were so many hateful comments on here, but I think this girl was suffering from it. I think it is too hard for men and women who have never experienced anything even close to ever understand. Whenever I see stories like this, it breaks my heart for both child and mom. It also makes me thank God for having gotten me to a hospital. Something clicked for me then.

I got pregnant at 15 and had my son at 16. Telling my Dad was the hardest thing I ever had to do (at that point in my life) My Dad was a single father and was very strict. After I told him he was in literal shock and didnt say a word to me for about 3 days. He never once yelled at me for it. He finally came to talk to me and asked me what I wanted to do about the pregnancy. I told him that I would never even think of getting an abortion. Then he gave me a huge hug and told me how proud he was of me. Again, I was 16 when my son was born.. this girl is 19!!

Introductory edit: Anyone whose watched Lexee's arrest has witnessed the mother acting belligerent and argumentative whilst threatening the police and the hospital staff who were actually SO KIND and softly softly to her daughter. Despite that she had commitment the most heinous act. My sense is Lexee is a very young 19 year old and under some sort of constant duress from her mother. It just seems so obvious based on her palpable fear. There are NO excuses for what Lexee did, but her mother is a cold hard fish who didn't even ask about her grandson (the stepfather was thr only one that seemed to). I would like to see lexee restart a life away from her alledgedly horrible, fundamentalist, narcisstic mother after serving an appropriate term of punishment for her little boy. Original: Lexee's mother is a piece of work and explains a lot regarding her daughters abhorrent actions. She had the gall to argue with and abuse first responders who treated her daughter with sensitivity and dignity despite Lexee's disgusting actions. Parenting FAIL

Her really close friends eventually stopped asking because they didnt want to appear as if they were body shaming. I imagine Alexee probably always wore baggy clothes and hid from her mom when she was home. The article also said that Students at her school thought that Alexee was a fake manipulative asshole who uses ppl to get what she wants, and forgets about them once she got what she wanted. and thought that she was better than ppl because she was closer to the coaches at her school. @@xdani_thethinkingneko she didn't have either! Please do not try and diagnose her with something to explain away her vile behaviour. She denied having sex. She was lucid enough to lie to medical staff. Post partum.. The clues in the name. It comes on after birth not before or during. Denial of pregnancy isn't a single diagnosis either and it's not a defence for murder. There are different types of denial of pregnancy and her actions show she DID know she was pregnant but was ignoring it/lying about it depending on who you listen to and not unaware she was pregnant. Her actions afterwards also aren't a usual reaction if she had a post partum issue! Killing her baby was murder. Her need to get rid of an inconvenience overrode anything else. If she was genuinely ill she wouldn't have manipulated and lied and killed and hid the baby.

She was also already accepted into college pending graduation. This 19 yr old adult woman was not immature as she had been responsible per thr above. She really pit on a good act and I believe she already was going to make sure her life would not be impacted by having this baby. She lied and lied and did what she did because she wasn't scared as the scene was a gory mess. She may have panicked but all she had to do was open the door. Her own mother was right there to help her as was all the hospital staff. What she did in the bathroom was not an act of immaturity but a calculated effort. She needs to come to grips with what she did and needs to accept adult consequences. Her mother is a hawk and she had to highly suspect the pregnancy but wanted to hear it from her daughter even when they were told the urine test was positive. Her mother's interrogation of her daughter in the er room was not in her daughters best interest but she has changed her tone now that her daughter has been charged. This whole story didn't need to happen as a 19 yr old knows how babies are made and how they present themselves to the world and that bellies get big. She just didn't want the baby.

Yes, absolutely, she is guilty. I'm due this mid-August, and there's no way she did not know she was pregnant unless it was a still birth. The baby moves, kicks, pushes, and protrudes all throughout the belly, no matter how big or small the baby is. She was hiding it because she was scared of her mom. She hid it all the way until the end. Even when she was alone in the bathroom, away from her mom, she never once asked a nurse for help. She was a 19 year old adult that gave birth in secret and went searching in that bathroom for supplies she could use to kill that baby (she tied him up in a trash bag and he suffocated), then put him at the BOTTOM of the trash can and stuffed napkins and other trash bags on top of him. She knew what she was doing was wrong, and she thought she would get away with it. Being scared of your mom is not an excuse for murder, especially at 19. She needs to be held responsible. Stop giving these little cheerleaders, "I'm not having sex," lying axs girls' previlege to get away with stuff like this. She killed that baby in a fxcking HOSPITAL of all places. The one place he could be saved, but she didn't want him to be saved because she didn't want him.

Alexi thought she had gotten away with hiding her pregnancy the entire nine months and thought she could continue her deception by locking herself in the bathroom and putting that baby in the hospital trash. And after the nurses got wise she was taking too long in the bathroom and threatened to unlock it, why didn’t alarm bells ring when they found blood everywhere? They should have had an inkling it was related to delivering the baby and they should have looked in the only place in that bathroom where a baby could be hidden….the trash can. They knew she was acting strange and even said she was manipulative. I’m a nurse and I would have checked everything in that bathroom. I mean come on, they said blood was everywhere and even had to get housekeeping to clean it up. That blood was a huge red flag, no pun intended. They should have been worried enough, at the very minimum, to immediately examine Alexi (and I mean vaginally) to rule out hemorrhaging.

Pretty much all of the people involved in this situation (Alexee, her mom, her boyfriend) all appear to have a pathological inability to take responsibility for anything. All of them had to be well aware of the pregnancy, but they all kept kicking the can down the road hoping the situation would somehow resolve itself. The mother's only question about the baby was how big he was and she was clearly shocked to learn it was full term. I think the hope was that Alexee would miscarry and everyone could pretend the pregnancy had never happened. Not a single one of them seemed to consider themselves responsible for anything that occurred and are just flabbergasted at the idea that they can be held accountable.

Her Mother knew or at the very least strongly suspected that she was pregnant. The first words out of her mouth was "Lexee I just told you about this - I just asked you baby to tell me the truth". As a Mom of a now adult woman I can tell you 100% that if my daughter was pregnant when she was a teen I would have known even if it was just from the way she looked. Alexie looked pregnant in her cheerleading uniform and I'm sure she was questioned by her coach and talked about by the other girls on the team. My daughter did All Star competitive cheerleading from grade school through college and there is no way that she could have gained all of that weight and not been questioned. In my opinion her Mom knew and Alexie is a murderer - and her Mom is just as bad. The boyfriend knew too- he had to if they were still having "relations".

I kid you not, my sister’s first boyfriend was age 22 and he thought that women gave birth out of their ass-holes because his grandma who raised him was a staunch catholic and refused to even acknowledge male vs female body parts let alone speak to him about sex. And no, they weren’t sexually active (obviously). These psycho parents are mostly to blame for this. Looking at her mom on what to do or say next, they had a special communication with the eye looks and body language, and the other family members didn’t notice her belly growing. I was an ICU and ER nurse in a different lifetime. After many twists and turns, I've been an NP in psychiatry for more than 10 years. As a nurse, I've seen and heard so many terrible things, and I can't imagine how these staff members feel. Going home after a horrible day like that day. Been there, and it crushes my heart. Just can't wrap my head around how terrible this case is. Alexee murdered a baby, possibly gave multiple people- ER doc, nurses, CNA, housekeeper- PTSD. Not to mention the ongoing trauma of having this high profile case that will likely loom for a good while. Incredibly sick, and she needs to be locked up for a long time. Mother is a complete piece of work as well.

Oh gosh, the poor baby and the poor housekeeper who found him. Such a senseless killing. Nobody covers true crime cases as thoroughly or as fairly as you, Dr. Grande. My undergrad degree is in a hard science and I've been a researcher, among other things, for years. You go as far in depth as I would do, which is why I enjoy this channel and all your videos so very much. Now if only I could hire you to help me with some other research! Oh well, you'll probably be hearing about it soon enough so please stay tuned. Keep up the great work and see you next case!

QUESTION-when the one person at the bathroom door looked in, he didn't see the blood everywhere? She left that restroom as if nothing was wrong. Many of the staff said there was blood everywhere. When the nurse/Dr. told her she was pregnant, the mom said 'I told you about this' I wonder what that really meant. The girl was ready to go to college, the mother clearly had set up a path for her daughter & the daughter didn't want to disappoint. Can't help but wonder if the mother didn't have some type of cruel plan in mind. Nevertheless, uncongonable 😪

lexee was given morphine, which was found in the baby at the autopsy. this could have depressed the baby's breathing and made it look to lexee like he wasn't breathing. also, if the hospital staff tried to resuscitate the baby, this would have forced air into his lungs and made it appear that he took breaths after he was born. on another note, lexee is a 19 year old adult and she should have been asked, outside her mother's presence, if she wanted her medical information shared in front of her mother. idk how no one noticed that her mother was treating her adult daughter like a 10 year old and just went along for the dysfunctional ride.
