What do you think of the changes made to Anne Haug's Cervelo P5? Does it get a super-nice?

Hi guys are these the tires that had multiple flats on the last few races if I recall?

Nice 😁, the water storage looks the same as I have done on my bike, 2L container with a small submersible pump with a finger switch on the bar, dosent weight much, works great, I live in Thailand, it's hot 🥵 and I need 2L of liquid on a 4 hr ride, Nice bike, many thanks, good video 👍👍👍

This morning's 4am ride up North Head (Sydney) with my mate ( freind) in his forties ( I'm 75yo) was tough going, not because of my 81 tooth single self made chainring, but because of not being in the lowest gear of the electronic hub gear conversations to my Cervelo S5. Probably should have ridden my Curve which has only 78 single chainring but also lower wirelessl cluster.

Sheesh, a 42x34 on a 155 crank... That's a big gear for 18% ramps.
@brothatwasepic3 ай бұрын
Since 155 is one of the shortest adult crank lengths does that make climbing leverage much higher since the lever itself is so short?
@GrouEEf3 ай бұрын
@@brothatwasepic yes, it indeed changes the gearing. Crank length itself doesn't influence power output, but the transmission.
@brothatwasepic3 ай бұрын
@GrouEEf thanks. I keep imagining when my car lug nut is stuck a short tire lever sometimes doesn't get it unstuck but a super long one always does. I guess I will have to try it myself

Any pro bikes using 25mm tires or have they all went up to 28s?
@josefwild23183 ай бұрын
DT Swiss recommendation for the arc 1100 line is 25mm or the new 26 aero

Keep in mind a gp4000s in 25mm is the same size as a gp5000 in 28mm.

that is a horrific amount of additional weight hanging off of that frame everywhere. someone didn't tell her about weight and climbing
@trbeyond3 ай бұрын
Forget about the bike. Everyone else chasing lighter weight and Anne’s small frame will be the biggest saving!

Front tire looks like it was not fully popped into the bead, as the Schwalbe logo is slightly under the rim wall. Something you might get if you only inflate to the require pressure instead of inflating until the tire seats and then releasing the excess. But then again I can only judge that based on the limited detail from the video. Her mechanics will probably do a finally checkover on race day anyway.
@mariostocco42893 ай бұрын
Yes, I had to pause the video when I saw that too. On close inspection, the rear is the same and it might just be how the graphic was printed by Schwalbe. The lettering looks crooked but the white pin-striping on the tire seems to run true with the rim.

Looks like every brand is trying to maximize aerodynamics but this bike has so many add ons that don’t fit too well with the frame and it seems that a lot of watts will be lost.

And in the end it didn’t matter because Ironman refuses to allow pros to have spare wheels staged with a support car.
