About "Dillon Science" - that is actually true. I'm 17-year-old male and I consider myself to be a very attractive person (it's not just my personal opinion, but the opinion of public as well). Girls and boys as well will often come talk to me, ask me how am I doing and such, but none of them will ever ask me out on a date or anything. And the more I become attractive (by taking good care of my body and face), the less people will actually say me anything (I'm talking about the people that I know - my classmates and such). And now, when I'm at the peak of my attractiveness, only strangers would talk to me and make an eye contact with me. And only few girls want to be in actual relationships with me.

@@Jferraro24 can't say for the OP but as a part time model it do be like that - people who are objectively less physically attractive will get more interaction, since it's always intimidating - even for me - to walk up to a really pretty girl and start a conversation. Of course there are other factors like your personality, how outgoing you are and how easy it seems to talk to you and to approach you from the personality standpoint, but i also think "dillon science" has some truth in it - you might be really conventionally or unconventionally attractive and just not know it, people will assume that you know or think that they're not pretty enough to talk to you

I can relate to the asymmetry. I inherited a genetic crossbite, which isn't very noticeable when my mouth is closed, but it makes my smile look awful, and it has made me very self conscious about smiling. People told me to mew but it's impossible to get my tongue in the right posture due to the crossbite. Furthermore, I can only breath through my mouth while I sleep due to very sensitive allergies that block my nose, and that has caused my chin to recede. After some research, I also found that the receding chin and crossbite might be responsible for my sleep apnea, which constantly makes me feel tired every day. I've seen several doctors and tried so many things to suppress the allergies but nothing works. I genuinely don't know what to do other than corrective jaw surgery, but I'm hesitant on that after hearing how surgery can go wrong.
