Dinner rolls, you must make! Easy and delicious.
For the yeast mixture:
1 cup warm full fat milk
7g instant yeast
50g white sugar
Mix together and rest for 15 min
In the mixing bowl add
700g bread flour
245g plain yogurt at room temperature
56g unsalted butter at room temperature
10g salt
2 large eggs
for egg wash
1 egg yolk with a tsp of milk
To make the dough;
Add the yeast mixture, yogurt, sugar, salt, 2 eggs, butter, and flour to the bowl of the stand mixer with the hook attachment. Mix until the dough is smooth, 15 to 20 minutes.
After mixing, if the dough is very sticky, add more flour about 1 to 2 tbs
Oil the dough, cover and rest for 2 to 3 hours or until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into 12 or 16 buns. Place them in a tin and loosely cover until rolls are doubled in size, about 2 hours, less if it’s warm in the kitchen.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
