I'm glad you were able to experience the atmosphere of Atami! It's a wonderful place that I've been going to for a long time. It's close to Tokyo, so it's a recommended hot spring resort. The beach is also close!

Nice hotel, food looked great! The fireworks were fantastic, and by the looks of it you had a great view. I wonder if you could have seen the fireworks without getting a kink in your neck?

It was just the right distance, and since it was on the roof of a building, I was able to see the fireworks at eye level! No damage to my neck (lol)
