when you fit the oil filter back in arnt you supposed to click it into place then fit the cover back over the top ?

Hey rusty you can do it that way but there is more chance of you not locating the filter nipple into the oil filter housing that way I prefer locating the filter in the position it needs to be in first as in the video and then as you tighten the housing you feel it lock into the cover during that process

@@OUTBACKDiscovery yeah that's true I've seen a few other people do it that way and as you tighten down it clicks into place as you said. I've always just clicked it into place and slowly screwed the cover back down then torqued it carefully.

Why not 5w30 ?

Because I live in a hot climate i have a choice between 5w30 and 5w40 , so I proffered to run 5w40
