To Dan from Gettysburg, if you happen to be reading comments, let me please offer advice based on my prior experience living in a condo. Our neighbor's cooking smell entered our bedroom since his kitchen and our bedroom were next to each other. The smell was pretty intrusive honestly, borderline gross and disrupted an otherwise peaceful place to live. Another persons smell seems trivial until it happens to you then you discover how bad it can be for your daily life. So I understand this lady's complaints, although I do not agree with the way she is handeling it. Luckily, this problem can most likely be fixed with a $15 tube of caulk. The smell is most likely leaking through the outlets between your shared wall. Have the owner remove the outlet covers and caulk around the fixture and the back of the fixture where the wires enter. We only had to caulk our side to eliminate the problem completely since it's some type of low pressure difference between the rooms that pushes the air. The landlord could do both sides for you at minimal cost. The second the smell goes away for her, she will immediately be easier to live next to and your life will be better too. You might have other issues with her, but that's a different story. I hope this helps. Much love.

In regards to neighbor issues its not so easy it seems to have someone evicted. I went through a similar situation because of a noise complaint and the police were at my door so many times at 3am in the morning. Every time I was sleeping and even sometimes was not even there. Each incident was documented and even that was not good enough for eviction. We went to mediation and even that did not solve the issue. We eventually moved to a different apartment and can you believe that about 6 months later she found out where we had moved too and called the cops! The complaint this time was that we were knocking on her door and running away. Long story short she was evicted but this took over a year. We documented everything, went to mediation, and shared every incident with the landlord. What did it in the end was that police took her to the hospital for an evaluation because they did not believe she was stable.

Quote because other tenants move and it's impossible to get the bad tenants out So basically I'm curious if you are stating that in order to get out the bad tenants you have good attendance that are nearby or close physically and proximity to those bad tenants who are trying who don't want to move out that you need the good tennis to service witnesses? Otherwise I don't understand that part of your comment and thus it doesn't make sense to me yet

They will absolutely take ANYONE that another person says is a threat to themselves or others. They don’t ask the person because that is not their line of expertise. They absolutely do ID them, take them to the hospital and the hospital determines if they need help or not. It is not the LEO job, nor are they even allowed to make that call.

Doesn't make sense and the RS people ALWAYS take the side of the woman. She's 52 and has CHOSEN to be a SAHM after her kids were old enough for her to get employment. No retirement and no social security - all HER choices. In my opinion, she deserves nothing more than half of any assets (and not really even that.) And, BTW, I'm a woman. Women need to learn to take care of themselves financially and not put everything on a husband. It's 2024, not 1950. No sympathy for her - she didn't even work part-time!

She’ll get social security if they were married for at least ten years. It may only be half of his, but he was likely maxed out for several years so it’ll be a decent amount. I don’t know if it works like this, but the social security tax limit is something like $160,000, so her benefit could be the same as someone who earned $80,000.

If the cops force commit you to a hospital, due to a false police report. I don't think the bill should be on you, that goes to the state or the reporter, but I guess it would go to you so my opinion doesn't matter. I would sue and press charges for a false police report. I would also attempt to sue the police for a false arrest, they need more than an unsubstantiated call ... yeah no, not letting that go. I would have everyone involved for everything I could get. I would get the restraining order. I would get a civil rights lawyer to go after the police and hospital. Especially if you live in a state that no longer considers un-a-living yourself a crime. Honestly I think the case against his dad is a easy one, a lawyer would do it on contingency, and likely work with the hospital on reducing the bill, other than signing the contract with the lawyer shouldn't be any more stress in his life. Best outcome the dad is in jail, bills are paid for, and he now owns the business.

@@OopThereItIs77777 I don't hate single moms. I say they are living the results of their choices which is something quite different from hate (a strong work, BTW). And I certainly don't hate women - I am one, have two daughters, and work with women. I changed my handle because I wanted it to be the same as the one I use for other KZbin videos. I have never tried to hide anything and I am sure most people who comment realize it was me as I write lengthy comments (usually with a lot of upvotes.) Maybe you should stop practicing your favorite sport - jumping to conclusions about someone you've never met. Women have every opportunity that men have now for education and earning a good living. The signs of the character of someone are ALWAYS there for someone who is looking. Many women continue to make the same mistakes - not making sure they can take care of themselves financially since sometime in their lives they will likely need to do so, hooking up with a man or marrying him thinking they can change him, "finding" themselves pregnant, and relying on their feminine wiles rather than their brain to make good decisions. Calamity does happen unexpectedly, but by and large we are all the result of our own CHOICES. We are not victims of chance!

To the guy who has the issues with your dad, DO NOT PAY THE MEDICAL BILL! Get a good lawyer and sue the hell out of him. He should be paying the bill and all of your legal fees. The relationship is done either way. He should get justice for his actions. He is a criminal. You shouldn't be paying a single dime. If you do it would only be after you do as much damage as possible to him first. I have always had a great relationship with my father, but even just one move from him like that I would do the same thing. If you lay down and take it he will just continue this behavior with other people when he doesn't get his way. Do it for others around him if not for yourself.

35:30 Let's talk about the low interest mortgage versus the HYSA. My mortgage is at 3.5 and my HYSA is about 4.5%. I pay a minimal amount on interest because I've paid a lot down already. What everyone fails to realize, you PAY TAXES on that HYSA. So for me to make that extra 1%, I got docked about ~250 dollars on Federal refund because of the ~$700 I made in HYSA once it was added to my account. Nothing to do with "being tied to a location", nobody ever talks about your interest gained being taxable income. While "free money" is still a gain, you don't get 100% of it..

Even the RS team advocate occasionally for legal, emotional or financial remedies outside of their own, and rightly so. Nobody has All the answers neatly tidied away, particularly when so many callers’ facts and personalities are involved. Nicholas might have benefited from counseling before he jumped out of his relationship after “hearing Dave.” It could be he did the right thing but maybe he could have found peace in his decision if it hadn’t been so knee-jerk….and hey, there’s that other side we haven’t heard from either.

@@Trustbutverify2651You have a great point that we don't ever know the whole story when we hear one side (especially important on the internet) (although I do think it's more fun on the internet to assume a storyteller is being genuine in our response, but that doesn't mean let people trick us or not be honest when we do worry there may be more to the story) but I will ALSO say in some states, hospitals or first responders will be mandated by law to hold people in the ER when they suspect suicidal behavior or a mental health emergency. The caller may have been able to convince the hospital the call was fraudulent and thus let him out quickly, but that doesn't change that the ambulance ride and subsequent hours in the ER may have been legally required of the medical personnel and first responders. However, in that situation I would certainly assume that it should be easier for him to get his debt waived if there was no option for him not to get in the ambulance in a fraudulent situation. But in terms of not knowing the whole story, we also don't know what standards the first responders were nonnegotiabley obligated to.

They don 't need to "inform" the audience of any of their decisions about hosting the show. This happens from time to time and, personally, I like the midstream switch-up. Remember - this is a three-hour RADIO show that is edited down for two hours on KZbin. I'm sure people have things come up in their lives which make a last-minute change necessary. Maybe Jade and Ken both could only commit for half the time. Traffic? Doctors appointments? Emergencies? I would presume life happens to them as well, regardless of any pre-planned schedule.

We had no insurance when we had our first child and it was thousands. Just be aware that the only reason to pay these prices is to rub shoulders with the RS people and hear their spiels b/c you can get a Caribbean cruise any day of the week in March for just over $700 per person on this same ship (inside cabin.)
