It's amazing how much I learn from your talks. Such a blessing. I was raised in a very strict Catholic family. I had parents who were so deeply strong in their faith and very active in the church. When I became an adult I married and my husband served 20 years in the military, as such I have belonged to many different Catholic parishes. So I am amazed that I only learned about Devine Mercy and Devine Mercy Sunday in 2020, when I began live streaming masses due to church closing because of Covid. God truly does bring good out of bad, without Covid I may never have found the Marians or have become a Marian Helper. This also makes me think about our Protestant brothers and sisters who question some of our beliefs. We can't really be surprised that they don't know the earlier teachings if we active Catholics don't even know. Guess what I am trying to say is thank you Fr. Chris for the talks, the explanations, and bringing to light what many of us did not know. God bless you and your family. I am keeping you all in my prayers and daily rosary. And my apologies for making this post so long.

It is so important to hear these talks! Defending our faith is what mostCatholics are called to do,we are often tested by other Catholics too. I’ve been listening to Fr Alar since I discovered him here almost 2 years ago. I’ve learned so much about my faith that was never taught in my 12 years of Catholic school. It saddens me now to see in the short video clip the V being pushed. Where is your faith? Encouraging all to accept the man made V is putting your faith in man rather than God. I really loved this video, Fr. Chris, even though I had to watch it later. About two minutes after the livestream of the Mass ended I had to suddenly become busy running around my apartment to grab all of my rosaries, two Crucifixes, five prayer books and other odd and ends because there was another fire on the third floor of the apartment block. The fire happened all because of a guy decided to smoke a cigarette then fall asleep which made his couch catch on fire. Every one got out safely. I had to be out of my apartment for about 90 minutes. When everyone was allowed to go back into their apartments, except for the tenants on the third floor, the alarms in the apartments were still going. They finally were shut off at about noon. Then about 2 hours ago the alarm went off again for less then a minute. I'm still shaken up. I now realize where one of my mistakes came from, in regards to thinking that the Immaculate Conception should be near the Annunciation. I remember learning about the Immaculate Conception from my Catechism to prepare for my first holy Communion. What I never learned is that Mary's birthday is on September 8. I also don't remember hearing about her birthday in homilies growing up or before becoming a Marian Helper. Even though I had a stressful day I did remember to say a few Hail Mary's.
