Im too lazy to translate atm but you can translate if with some translator or read my desciption btw) wich is that one school week you go to somewhere you wan't to work for one week and ask if you could go and work for them (without wage wich sucks but we have own day for that work too and they might give you a little tip if done good work) and in here where i live is only 2 car shops one is that garage and other is body shop so thanks to these videos and that my grandfather and father knows lots about cars and they will teach me too im starting to get a hang for this but i've heard that in USA you can get your drivers license when 16 years old and if that's true im so fucking jealous bc in Finland that age is 18

MudJugBill that is actually wrong. They say if you get paid to do what you love than you don't see it as work at all.
@jameshawkins8097 жыл бұрын
MudJugBill you're going on personal opinion for you but if you actually loved your job it's not like working. Maybe your management or pay sucks. It also makes your skill set even better since you do it daily so personal projects would have a better fit and finish. I'm an electrician love what I do and just bought my first home and have many projects planned out.
@jameshawkins8097 жыл бұрын
MudJugBill I already am. Was doing audio systems for friends cars in high school. Did online how-to projects like making tasers out of Altoid cans. Not I'm an electrician and have been one since 2008. Currently building a nightlight for my daughter's room. It is what you make of it and you shouldn't be going around trying to kill the dreams of a 12 year old just because it didn't work out for you.
@jameshawkins8097 жыл бұрын
MudJugBill like I said, that is YOUR truth, not everyone else's. There is no need to down play what I said, it was a hobby of mine at a young age dealing with electrical things and now I make a living off of it.

The reason it is recommended axle nuts are discarded after use is that many are torqued to yield and so strength is compromised after being torqued. Sometimes this means the nut is permanently stretched so its not even possible to thread it back onto the axle. However, not all are torqued to yield, follow the instructions in your service manual - if it is recommended to replace it, they're cheap, might as well.

@@chrisfix Hey, Chris. How do I know which hub bearing specifically to purchase for my car? My 1996 Toyota Corolla is 4 lug and would like to make it 5 lug like this. Do I order the 5 lug hub bearing for a newer model Corolla that is 5 lug? How do I go about this?

I think I already told you Chris in another video, but anyone watching, push the wrench when tightening to heavy torque specs. When tightening an axle nut, push the wrench since you can use your weight to have that do most of the work.

ChrisFix how do you know if the hubs are going to bolt up properly? do i just have to go to junkyard and keep looking around until i find 5 lug hubs that have the same bolt pattern or size as my originals... ( im asking on the side with the drive axles that has to be bolted in place )
@marvinmartinsYT4 жыл бұрын
A better wheel options is the only advantage. I’ve been running four stud on my cefiro with no issues apart from short on wheel options. I’ve gtr brakes on it with new rotors drilled and slotted. Well done in this video though. Well explained and spoken. Proper procedure.

Two things: 1. Remind people to make sure the e-brake is on Bc with open diff cars it can now roll with 1 rear wheel off the ground 2. You should have put a little grease on the front spindles so the hub doesn’t freeze on over time
