Gotta respect Japanese quality! Too rich for my blood, but I've read good things about Meiji. They do have a lower CFM Finer Core gun. You knocked it out the park as always, Trigger! 💪🏾 OAN... my dad used to embalm and drive the hearse as a 2nd job.. OTR fuel tanker driver as his main. As a lesson on drug abuse, he took me and my cousin in the the funeral home to show us how we could end up from doing drugs. I ran the hell outta there! 10 years later... I smoked a spliff. I only use the German Giraldez Infinity CLplus and iwata neo, got to be the best bang for your money very reliable and smooth ✌✌✌✌I always add a little clear coat to my paint on the last cover before my final clear coats gives that extra shine.Great job brother 💯

The Luma3 Exodus are rebranded Meiji finer cores. Luma3 sells 2 gun kits. A 1.5 compliant for clear and a 1.3 hvlp for base. Nice guns 👌

They are the same. Meiji guns come with HVLP or OP kits, just like the Luma III guns.

Hi Trigger, great review boss you did the gun proud with an unbiased look at the little gun, the HVLP did a nice job on the clear as the finish you put on was very flat and glassy, I think this is like a midi-gun size but it sprays like a full size gun and as you said it's a very well made gun and even the plastic trigger seemed nice👌 I had the Finer Core 1.3CR on loan for a few weeks and was very impressed with it I think the CR is like the RP/HTE or a non HVLP setup as mine really laid the clear very nice in fact it laid the clear better than the basecoat which is pretty much what it should do (I have a few vids of it on my channel that you follow😁), I hope to get one at some point but I've just bought the PRD-717🙄 Nice to see your troll back again🤭🙏👍John UK

Sorry for the late reply Trigger but I was wating for an answer to your question from a friend of mine (the person who will not be mentioned on here🥸😆)he told me the difference between the HVLP and the clear gun is of course the cap and the plastic baffle behind the cap but I can't find them for sale anywhere mate🤔 If you look on thebay you can pickup the complete clear gun, the HVLP's are called HVLP in the description but the clear gun doesn't have a name it's just called the Finer Core 1.3, I'm really not sure where I got the "CR" from as all the guns I've seen don't have that in the description, hope that makes some sense Trigger I've read this back and even I can't understand it🤪🤦‍♂🤣

I stumbled across your channel recently and I’m thoroughly enjoying the content. I’m getting ready to spray a few different jobs after not spraying for damn near 10 years. I trying to figure out what to do about a gun bc the last time that I sprayed I had a brand new devilbiss finishline 3 and right out of the box it was basically junk. I couldn’t get it to stop leaking at the needle packing nut. If I tightened the packing nut it would stop but then I would get dripping out of the fluid tip as soon as I let off the trigger. I just bought a rebuild kit for a last ditch effort before it goes in the trash. I’m pretty much expecting to have to buy a new gun…. Just gotta figure out what to buy

Great vid bro!!! Im running my lvlp areopro a610 (R500) with a 21 gallon compressor. Base coated car black. Took 1 gallion on finish 1 fc 720 with qrt medium hardner mix in 18 grams oji purple 50 grams of jelly purple and 50 grams awi purple to make my own purple. I spayed at 28 psi. Came out great color wise. At home garage so some trash in it, dust. Now i got another gallon of same clear how can i set this gun to spray better. Ive just done this car first time painter so having problems setting this gun to proerly spray clear. Any setting you can give for gun and compressor are greatly appreciated. What up trigger, I've had these for some time now and as you said they're great guns. The 1.3 is intended for sealer and base while the 1.5 is for clear, i know the nozzle size is big but it is very controllable I highly recommend you try it if you get the chance to do so

Regarding a past video on the LPH400 - Perhaps you already know this but - Anest Iwata makes the ( successor ) to the LPH400 which is the WIDER4L-V13J2 or WIDER4L-V14J2.

I've done a few jobs with it know. And I'll say it's cool for everything "except" clear. It's blinding me. But on sealer and base and getting under panels it really does help with that stuff. Editing a video on it right now will be up next week.

1.3 seems fast enough. Some guys like to go faster but that seems very manageable and no big clouds of overspray. Plastic bits won't last forever like the expensive guns. $450 is a little expensive for plastic bits though.

Back in the days one gun used to do everything. Then they started to come with all types of compliance rules and regulations so some guns They made for clear coat and some for base which in most cases you can use one gun and get away with doing bass and clear with the same gun but there are certain guns that are really designed to break up clear coat a lot better since clear coat is a thicker material. But in the '90s there was only one gun for everything

If a hvlp gun is not best for clear coat,would a prd 717 split nozzle work and work with base coat? I might not drive casket unit.

@@GeorgiaGonzales-f6u those PRD guns are a little more advanced with the split nozzle so they are perfect for clear coat and they spray base coat equally as well. Certain guns will perform great for clear. But typically I don't like HVLP for clear. 🫡

I'll tell you right now that's a lie. The 1.5 OP I would say sprays like the Sagola 1.2 XL you SATA jet 1.3. I've used it on a few jobs now and not one single run whenever I use the Sagola with a 1.3 I get runs all over the place. But I will say it's a very nice spraying gun. I thought it was all hype

@@thetriggerman954 Sanded down my 2007 Camry with 320 shot some black base over the areas that needed it the sprayed the candy pearl over the areas and most of the side. I think I could panel paint this candy pearl. Anyway, used the German Liquid Glass four coats,(2 wet over wet) with the Sata CC 30 psi. It came out really clean and it is with out question the best clear out there, just saying. Only thing about wet on wet you have hard time seeing where your spray pass ended. With that got a couple of sags on deck lid where the plate will go. Got that covered. Send me your shop address and I will send you some clear so you can try it out. Warning hard as a rock to sand start with 1000 then 2500 3000 buff with heavy compound and you know how it goes Doug
