Currently making a sunflower granny square sweater. I can only manage about 1 a day because I work as a teacher and have a toddler. I’m just hoping to have it done by the time cold weather arrives. You’re an inspiration. “in crochet you never know what you’re going to end up with.” Truer words have never been spoken.

I'd add a few rows to make sure we see the granny squares perfectly. If the 2-inch part you put an elastic into was added rows, we'd see every single granny square and it would be even better, It's beautiful and I love the colours though!!!

I recommend making the squares serial style. Make a bunch of centres, then a bunch of just the second row and so on. This works particularly well if you're making more complex squares like flowers where you have to remember a change in pattern.

Have you tried securing the ends while crocheting, so just incorporatimg the end of the last colour into the bottom of the next round? Don't know if you'll get what I mean XD That won't save you from all the weaving in but a good portion of it although it can be a bit annoying while crocheting
