Yes we have the same Grill and there were some Rust spots on it so we got the paint for high-heat and spray painted it black and it looks just as good as the day we bought it you all are doing a fabulous job I love the way your grass has come together💯❤👍

I agree. If the grill was painted a light color it would be dirty immediately from the black smoke pouring out of it. Black is a classic color for a grill because of this.

Grills need to use a special paint called high heat paint. It tends to only come in very few colors. Black and a few others. Hi to Marcus’ Mom! And wow that little baby puppy is getting so big! Everything looks beautiful

Yes!!! I’ve used them too!! They work well with bbq’s and smokers! I’ve used them with metal firpits but those don’t hold up well in wet areas

Painting something that gets hot is not long lasting with anything purchased at the store. Especially stored outside. I wouldn’t ever go there and just buy in the color desired.

Everything looks so beautiful so far!!! I love the black on the window trim and I think painting the laundry room trim black too would look awesome. Because it’s on the outside, I don’t think it will make the room dark as long as the inside trim is a light color like white. Keep up the good work!!

Make sure the paint the bottom and sides of the door or it will rot from the moisture wicking up. Also, if you're going to leave the interior of the door unfinished, at least put a sealer on it otherwise it'll expand and contract from all the moisture. Last note: make sure you install a good threshold and weather stripping to keep out the bugs and keep your home sealed. Lookin good! Love you much! Congrats on your new endeavor!

Thanks hun! Marcus sealed the end of the door that he cut with the same stuff he used on the patio walls! I can’t remember what it’s called but it’s some type of sealant. Thanks hun ❤️

I actually really like the pink door! And I think it’s super fitting for the wedding. Pink is a happy color!! I feel the white laundry room window. It helps the patio pop. And once you have those shelves up it won’t distract from them

Hi Kayla, I like your patio ideas. Please do paint the grill. It will look fabulous!! A nice screen/storm door on your patio/sunroom door would look good and be functional. I think the window should be painted the same pink as the door. I think that would make your patio view of your house "pop"

@@YoungLadyBusiness I agree about the window the window being black on the outside shouldn't cause it to be darker on the inside as long as the inside frame isn't black. But I love the pop of pink on the patio door. I think tying in the pop of pink on the patio area will tie it all together. I think the grill could use a good coat of black paint with a pink handle maybe to bring in that color your looking for.

It looks good so far. I don’t think you asked us about an alternate color for the door, but I think it would’ve been nice to paint it and the laundry room window black. (I don’t even know the entire plan which will be revealed next week. 😉) I do, however, understand having cohesion with the front door and the back door.
