I understand how it can take a while to embrace something you inherit from a loved one. I inherited my mom’s favorite bracelet and put it in a box for 20 years while I processed her death. But now I wear it whenever I am nervous (like a job interview) or there’s an important family event (like my daughter’s wedding) because it’s like my mom is there holding my hand. The garage was so much work in Canadian weather but it looks fantastic. If you and Jeff can build a garage together, I think that’s a love that is going to last.

SO happy for you! I can only imagine how you both must feel being at this end of the garage build. BTW, there are companies that will come and take down your she shed and take it away ~ free. They get the shed to put up somewhere else (or sell it) and you get it removed without having to do any of the hard work. Just a thought...

VA-VA-VOOM! Never thought I would say a garage looked GORGEOUS! The creamy white exterior, the beautiful wood toned doors, the trim and the black overhead lights are such a beautiful statement. When you match your house to the garage, it will be all so cohesive and stunning. Danie - I live vicariously through you! While I am more than twice your age, I'm the little train that says, "I think I can", "I think I can" "I think I can" ... but has to stop and rest a bit more often than I would like. You give me inspiration and hope. It's a joy to see your excitement!! Such exuberance!! Hope you and Geoff get the much needed rest you both need (along with healing on your back; I wince everytime, I see you climb ladders, carry/pull heavy objects) and will see you again in 2024! Multi-congratulations! The garage/workshop is such a great space already and when the whole garage bottom floor is done, it's going to be amazing for you and Geoff. One of the best things I did in my shop, was add a ‘bits & bobs’ box that holds all the extra parts from things. It’s saved me so much time and money from not having to replace parts I’ve misplaced or the time it takes to try to find it, but then have to go buy a replacement anyways. Highly recommend - especially since you modify things you get like I do! =)

seems like, for filming purposes, you'll want those acrylic diffusion covers on the lights. It might knock them down a few lumens, but I bet the light is much easier to control for filming. garage looks great!
