The connector pricing is ridiculously high

Last I checked they were in the four dollar range. All I can say is they are easy to work with and last. I just re used the same connectors on the third version of a boat duck blind. They have been outdoors for 4 years!

So, after pricing out the conduit (Which is cheap) and these connectors plus a seat and sliding seat rails. I might as well buy a custom pre-built. I mean WTF is the point if you charge an arm and a leg for the damn maker Pipe connectors. The builds are only limited by your own creativity and the size of your wallet, so back to square one. 1 T connector is roughly $8 and that is the cheapest one. Do the math.

I used them to make a fold down boat mounted duck blind. Worth every penny. Just do not know how I would have done the job without the connectors

I've been using it for certain projects, and you're right that it's not always the most economic choice. But sometimes it is. I built a table out of it for about $100 in overall materials, that is much sturdier than anything I could have bought for that price, and specific to the dimensions I wanted. You really just have to price it all out per the item you're building, sometimes it will be worth it, other times not so much. A lot of the value in it is easily building stuff you can't just buy off the shelf. The other thing it really makes sense for is temporary projects. You get a lot more value out of your materials if you're building something for a specific event or scenario, and then dissassemble and rebuilt something new with the same parts.

@@caramelzappa Home Depot, they have the exact same types of connectors as Maker Pipe but at half the cost.

The conduit is affordable. The connectors are going to cost you
