My husband is ill & I’m his caregiver. There’s a lot to do around here, & I often feel stuck & a bit overwhelmed. I’m not doing anything as difficult or complicated as you - just taking care of the house & yard. But your videos inspire me & help me move forward with another project. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy mowing, but having someone else do it saves me several hours a week. We have good neighbors, too, & friends that occasionally make the drive out to the country, but with the pandemic some are afraid of possibly exposing my husband to the virus. I’m learning that I don’t have to get it all done all the time & that I need to prioritize. I’m adapting.

Doug, another great video! I’ve been thinking. How about a tutorial?! I’m sure many other subbies would like to know how to do what you do! I would I know that! I don’t know how time consuming that would be but you can determine that. Maybe something small and easy ( you make everything look easy though ) that you can walk us through step by step. I’m really just trying to keep you and the family with us as long as possible! Lol Teach us how to build a shelf or something. I’m sure if you ask you’d get a lot of feedback as to what we’d like to learn how to do. Any way young Maverick is a doll! Someone said that’s what you get when you don’t talk baby talk to a growing child. I believe that with my whole heart and I never did with my own children. That’s enough from me (for now). “See” you next video!💕

Love the way you did the electrical. You could have just ran the regular romex like the other guy did but you went the extra step of using conduit which really makes for a top notch job.
@timwilson31504 жыл бұрын
Actually using romex in that situation is a code violation. Another alternative would have been to use mc cable. Also, all outlets are required to be gfci protected which they may be because Doug did mention a gfci. It should be upstream of all other outlets thereby protecting all downstream outlets. Doug didn’t show that but I’m sure that’s what he did. I’m a 20 year journeyman electrician. Nice job Doug!
