If you look under the metal support for the ssd there should be a m.2 slot. You can also add something there as well. Most of them models support that.

@@DLMtechgarage not a problem. I have a bunch of the small form factor ones like that. And they all have a m.2 slot on them under the 2.5 inch drive cage.

Always make sure to have your computers or any electronics turned off before cleaning near them. I once dropped water on my laptop and shut off the power immediately, then I took it apart as fast as I could and dry it out. It still works fine up to this day.

good for smb sector 6/7th gen to 10th gen - 10th gen gives you double ram capacity but you pay about double - the mt cases are better - just easier to work with and sometimes you get more slots - options are good but may be limited due to hp/dell walled gardens

I have had good luck with Gamecube @720p on Skylake/Kaybelake systems with integrated graphics. Dolphin is Very well optimized.

Older systems seem to run the actual emulators much better then the Retroarch cores. Dolphin is a great example.

@@DM-sc4ru stand alone emulators are nearly ALWAYS better than cores except for very few limited cases. The newer the console, the more likely you will need a stand alone. Typically retroach cores are best used in bulk on very old consoles that have already been HIGHLY optimized. Using retroach makes set-up of multiple systems easier and is PERFECTLY fine for systems like NES, SNES, Genesis and more.

You could install it on a vesa mount behind the monitor , just have a USB extension lead down towards the desktop. BTW the SoDIMM memory usually has to be the low voltage (1.35 volt) type in this sort of system i.e. DDR3L. I have a couple of the Lenovo ThinkCentre 93s which are quite good but do have a whitelist built into the bios to only accept certain CPU types.

Don't use brake cleaner, use IPA or Electrical parts cleaner or just wash it and dry it very well! Also visually inspect the other ITX board and the PSU. It may have been the PSU that blew up so test that mobo with better PSU!
