Finally, a true teacher has arrived!!! My professors suck! They are little more than technicians. Thank you for explaining that the tension( negative supercoil) resolves itself by "melting the DNA" upstream. Correction: The melting of DNA reduces twist number therefore it favors negative supercoils, BUT DnaA wraps around the DNA (RRS) in a right handed form. This introduces positive supercoils. Linking number will remain constant, twist will decrease and writhe will increase. Overall Good View :)

all of the DNA enzymes (dnaA, dnaB, etc) DNA is lowercase and their identification letter is uppercase, it makes a difference.
