@Gavin Reed Since you seem so passionate about domestic abuse within lesbian relationships why don't you do something to help with the problem instead of using it to hate on a perfectly happy married couple. Also divorce isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just stigmatized by society. Straight couples are probably more likely to stay in an unhappy marriage while lesbians hold themselves to a higher standard and divorce if they aren't happy.

Hi ladies, 2yrs is more than enough time to "just date"... anything beyond that without thinking/leading to marriage is just a waste of the (woman's) time. If you are worried about being too young or not experienced enough, then just end it and keep dating new people until you find what you want. I emphasis waste of a woman's time because men do not have biological clocks so they can take however long they want, and the longer they are able to get away with fairly guaranteed sex without having to commit to marriage, the more likely they will stay in that relationship.

I agree with Richard on the concept of soulmates. My opinion is, there is no single person meant for you. There are many people with compatible personalities to us in the world and we just click with one of them. You choose eachother, and stay with eachother because that's what you and your partner want and I think that's beautiful. The two of you aren't together because it was something that was meant to happen but it's something the you wanted to happen.
@zakaria8613

Let's follow your logic and see where it takes us. If there are 'many people' that are compatible with your personality, couldn't we just section of bit by bit the ones that are most compatible with you. At the end of that process you would have found your so called soulmate. I think the reason people buy into the idea that soul mates don't exist is so that they can cope with the fact that they're not ambitious enough to go find their one.
@brookeh21
@brookeh21 2 жыл бұрын
@@zakaria8613 I disagree with that. I think that people buy into soulmates existing because they are too lazy to do the work in a relationship. The power of choosing someone yourself is much more divine than some outside force that chooses for you. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Hey! It’s McKenzie haha. I don’t like being hugged while I’m crying and trying to speak 😅 so he knows me well enough not to haha

Out of all the Spectrum episodes I have watched Amber is my favorite person. I also love the realness of all the couples they did go to one line just because their spouse was on that line.

That Mormon couple ain't gonna last. Mckenzie was over there crying and Tyler had his hands in his pockets smh. At 6:14 you can see Charlie comforting Amber behind them while listening to McKenzie's story and you can totally tell that he sensed she was upset so he touched her reassuringly. Tyler didn't even seem to be bothered by McKenzie's tears. I know Jubilee cuts things out so it's hard to really tell their relationship dynamic but I was sooo disappointed

Get your heads out of your asses. This is real life, not a romantic drama. There are lots of reasons to not give a hug in that moment. You know nothing, not even whether they hugged just after cutting whatever.

it’s not awkward to talk about miscarriages. i don’t feel awkward listening to you, though i do think you’re really strong and appreciate you sharing with us! miscarriages happen to millions of women and occur in 10-20% or 1 in 8 of all pregnancies, and we need to normalise discussing them so that women don’t feel ashamed to share the news and instead suffer alone what is already a heart-wrenching and isolating experience. thanks again for sharing!

It makes so happy to see other couples who got married so soon after dating ❤❤❤ I used to be one of those people that wanted to get married only after at least 5 years of dating (nothing wrong with that mentality at all, btw), but I just knew I wanted her to be my wife after about 1 year and a half ❤

@@AmiriHipHop no, I meant that I knew I wanted to marry her and I knew I didn't have to wait 5 years (which was something I've always fixated on as if it's a law).

I definitely relate to Richard's view of "Soulmates". It's like the prompt being "You enjoy driving 'Tesla Mustangs'. Well of course not because they don't exist; BUT I chose to drive the car that I am over any other car and I constantly make that conscious choice every day. And the fact that they had not talked about it actually says so much more for their relationship: they've never felt the need to "validate" it with an "are you my soulmate" question. Clearly he makes her feel like that was never even in question. And on top of that, his view is that she is also making that choice every day even though it is a "feeling" that she has. I think people sometimes put too much emphasis on the labels and don't look at the substance.

Miscarriages are extremely hard. Even the thought of doing a recording for a show a week after we had ours sounds terrible, let alone it being the third miscarriage. Thank you for sharing, you aren’t alone.
