Hi ladies, 2yrs is more than enough time to "just date"... anything beyond that without thinking/leading to marriage is just a waste of the (woman's) time. If you are worried about being too young or not experienced enough, then just end it and keep dating new people until you find what you want. I emphasis waste of a woman's time because men do not have biological clocks so they can take however long they want, and the longer they are able to get away with fairly guaranteed sex without having to commit to marriage, the more likely they will stay in that relationship.

I agree with Richard on the concept of soulmates. My opinion is, there is no single person meant for you. There are many people with compatible personalities to us in the world and we just click with one of them. You choose eachother, and stay with eachother because that's what you and your partner want and I think that's beautiful. The two of you aren't together because it was something that was meant to happen but it's something the you wanted to happen.
@zakaria86132 жыл бұрын
Let's follow your logic and see where it takes us. If there are 'many people' that are compatible with your personality, couldn't we just section of bit by bit the ones that are most compatible with you. At the end of that process you would have found your so called soulmate. I think the reason people buy into the idea that soul mates don't exist is so that they can cope with the fact that they're not ambitious enough to go find their one.
@brookeh212 жыл бұрын
@@zakaria8613 I disagree with that. I think that people buy into soulmates existing because they are too lazy to do the work in a relationship. The power of choosing someone yourself is much more divine than some outside force that chooses for you. 🤷🏾♀️

I definitely relate to Richard's view of "Soulmates". It's like the prompt being "You enjoy driving 'Tesla Mustangs'. Well of course not because they don't exist; BUT I chose to drive the car that I am over any other car and I constantly make that conscious choice every day. And the fact that they had not talked about it actually says so much more for their relationship: they've never felt the need to "validate" it with an "are you my soulmate" question. Clearly he makes her feel like that was never even in question. And on top of that, his view is that she is also making that choice every day even though it is a "feeling" that she has. I think people sometimes put too much emphasis on the labels and don't look at the substance.
