I started gaming back when games came on cassette tape and I have never seen a better time to be a gamer you just have to know how to research games before you buy them. It's a dream for me to have access to massive library of games from current gen bangers to games from many many decades ago . You say this but silent hill 2 has some serious performance issues (on pc at least) watched the game actively drop to 3-7 frames for seemingly no reason and when a lot of stuff happens it’s almost a guarantee again idk if this is the case for the ps5 version at least until dawn runs well

I think its an absolutely amazing game, and this remake improved so much with new music, and stunning graphics (also I can finally play it cuz of the pc port). I paid 70 euros for it, and I think it was well worth it for me. I already did 2 playthrough's and I have no idea how much more will I do over the years. I get that its not worth it for some, but others really appriciate it. If it's not for you don't buy it. Simple.

it's more that it's a secondary account that serves no benefit No one objects to having to have a PSN account on a PS5, it's when you are on another platform, and you need to use this 2nd account, that is not for the store, online, it's just email harvesting and a way to bump their overall acount numbers to 'deceive' their shareholders how many people have ever brought from the Ubisoft store in comparsion to steam for the same game, but AC,Far Cry, etc requires a ubi account, so they can say we have 20 million Ubi connect players, where in reality , they only have 200k they sell to and the rest are Steam primary users

A game released in 2015 does not need a remake this shortly after release. Silent Hill 2 is acceptable remake as that was 2001. Again this game is a cash grab

@@Simonb1471 All re-releases are cash grabs. Resident Evil had back-to-back re-releases within 6 months of the game coming out. At least Until Dawn has an actual graphical upgrade and not just a red label tacked onto the box. Point is, you’re angry at something that game companies have been doing far ages, except now we get more for our money, even though people don’t realize it. Games evolved exponentially, in graphics, narrative and overall experience, while the price remained the same until a few years ago. You can actually argue that prices went down in average if you count the low prices of PC games and indies.

Sony’s PC initiative is really screwing over their PlayStation audience. They’re only remaking these old games they already played so they can sell them to the PC crowd. Then they wonder why over 40% of people haven’t upgraded to the PS5. Most everything still releases on the PS4 or they’re remaking/remastering games they already own on the PS4.

Same shit as with the Dead Space remaster, They might have added a few bells and whistles but it's still the same game as it was in 2008 but this was £70 !!!. the problem with Concord was the fact it cost $400 million and took 8 years to make. I get it Overwatch comes out and you think hmm lets copy that, makes perfect sense, if it takes 3 years, not 8 It's like if a Fortnite clone comes out now, missed the bus a bit. Also GTA5, RDR2 even with inflation did not cost as much as concord, that type of game is a $100 million at most, 3 years to develop. It's not groundbreaking, it's does'nt require a massive dev team, it does'nt need 8 years It needed to sell at that price, at that cost, 20 million + copies. Overwatch 2 is F2P, has the name recognition , is on all platforms, on what planet did they think they could sell 20 million copies with a derivative average imitation Even if Concord did super well, it still would have lost money The question is with all Sony's expertise, resources, how come no one at Sony could see that.
