• Master the fundamentals first. • Realise that you have to train your mind to unlock your true potential. • Warm up properly and listen to your body to avoid injuries. • Get a coach or a partner that can push you and point out any mistakes you make. • Put more effort into learning (about your body, the exercises, the different diets...) • Enjoy what you're doing.

3 things I wish I knew before starting calisthenics: 1 - Warm up routine is important. Take longer time with the warm-ups before doing any calisthenics skill. 2 - Foundations training. Make sure you can do the basics of calisthenics well...not the fastest or the most... but do it well consistently! 3 - Recovery. I think there are 3 aspects of recovery: nutrition, mobility/flexibility and sleep. These 3 are core essentials for recovery.

@Jordanimal456
@Jordanimal456 2 ай бұрын
Multiply your current weight by 15. Subtract 400 from that. That number is the amount of calories you need to eat to start losing weight. Supplement that with 1.5 hours of cardio per week. This can look like 10k steps every day. Once you lose 5 pounds, do the bodyweightx15-400 again.
