@@warr1or227 good analogy, but I’d probably say it’s more like comparing coke to lemonade, because comparing it to water could insinuate healthy food is tasteless, which it is not. Coke is sweet and addictive, everyone can enjoy it. Lemonade will never taste like coke, but it will have its own taste, very delicious and it’s full of vitamins and good for your body (in moderation, just like all food, even healthy food). And if you’d go off coke for years and your only tasty drink of choice would be lemonade, you would start feeling the benefits of that vitamic C, the extra energy without the sugar crash, less cravings and how the healthy benefits of the micronutrients feel in your body. After a while, if you try coke again, sure it will still be tasty, but it will not taste as good because you won’t only taste it with your tongue (which will start noticing the poor ingredients that you were so used to before that they could hide behind the sugar. The taste will just forever be “off”), but with your whole body. You will notice the sugar crash you weren’t noticing before because it was just a normal occurrence for you. You will notice your body will not gain anything from it, and you will miss the lemonade. You will genuinely wonder why people even drink coke when lemonade is so tasty itself and so good for you. And, if you make it at home, it will be cheaper than coke, which you can only buy. This is why you don’t miss unhealthy eating once you really go off it. This was a fun analogy to reflect upon! Keep up the good work 🤜🏼🤛🏻

thats because people think if youre working out and want a good body you HAVE TO cut all the sesiosings , salts , fats etc. Which you dont have to cut any of them unless youre competing and doing this as "job" professionaly. Im not talking about personal trainers, still talking about pro bodybuilders who compete seperate times of the year. That makes foods untasty and gross that people think if you want muscle and decent body you should eat like that
@nonexistent9443 жыл бұрын
@@ilkemagic7721 its all about finding a balance. That's also one of the reasons why people can't stick to their diet. I agree with the cheat meal. I allow myself a cheat snack or a cheat lunch on Sundays (that's the one day I don't do any workouts) usually every other week sometimes every week. There's no question, all the grease and saturated and trans fat and sodium, fast food is literally poison for you body and will make you feel so crumby when you're used to eating healthy. I can't even drink one can of soda. you really gotta get into making your own meals at home man. It can save you money and you will feel so much better. You're literally paying more to put toxins in your body. And if you meal prep, making larger quantities at once to eat later you can save a lot of time.

Hey Chris, I am Jan, 46 years old from Germany. Thank you for this video! I usually don’t comment anything on social media. But I felt the urge to really thank you. I suffered a lot of intolerance because of eating. I guess I know a lot about nutrition and it wasn’t the missing knowledge but I was lacking on the discipline to keep eating healthy. Just too many exceptions with fast food etc. So, besides your workout vlogs which by the way are outstanding I watched this video. And it made a great impact on me. It’s especially how you described how bad you felt after each junk meal and how much better tastes healthy food. And it’s true. Plus when your son said, he can’t believe you eating this junk because you didn’t for quite a while. It made me think that it might be not ok too eat once a week at McDonalds….So, a huge thank you for inspiring me and letting me participate in your knowledge!!!

Man,after eating good quality food and eating those burgers felt really heavy to my stomach to handle it so I also didnt finished it all so I can fully understand that he feels bad after eating and how he apreciattes healthy food. If you eat a certain way consistently over a long period of time and suddenly change, the body may not take it well. This is true for Chris, who has been eating healthy and then, eats junk food. This is true for those who eat junk food regularly and then, eat healthy too... It's unfortunate, because people who normally eat all of the processed food don't know what real food taste like and they are addicted to consuming all the chemicals and artificial products. Worst of all, are the sugars... Appreciate you, Chris for doing this video. Much love to you, your amazing kid and to all the viewers!
