Yes the key he said is stress reduction. God created the world with certain laws. People can benefit in the blessings of God by finding these laws with out knowing Him. But as Christians we can reduce stress by by walking in the spirit. The mind of the spirit is life and peace. Meditating on Gods promises and resting in them brings us a deep rest and peace the world will never know! I also like brain retraining as well. It’s secular but it’s the same principles as the word of God teaches. Just science not spiritual. Neuroscience. @@CristinaArriolaart

@@rajanimdskincare As a vampire looking gal, I have already studied telomeres. The science was discovered in 1930's. I can assure you I am MUCH healthier than 99% of these commenters. I just find it interesting this channel is just now talking about telomeres... I am middle-aged and haven't even hit peri menopause. My fertility has also been tested and it is optimal compared to my 20s. My skincare routine is simple with a professional jet peel facial every 4 months, laser once every Dec, I use nivea Creme daily, retinol, microneedling once every 45 days, no sunscreen (take astaxanthin instead), Hyaluronic acid & collagen supplements, as well as homemade bone broth twice a day. I also only date guys who are less than 10 years younger, and all my friends are mostly younger millennials. Anyone my age or older is youthful and timeless, not lazy and unhealthy. Hence, why I live in So Cal. People here are healthy and attractive year round. Rest of America is fat, and getting fatter... Portland, where I grew up turned into idiocracy after 2002.

It’s hilarious these insights are passed on today as being new. However, in times long forgotten there lived a wise man in China whose name was Confucius. Apparently people who knew the old master affectionately called him “Old Boy” because of his remarkable young appearance. Confucius himself explained that only people who go against ‘the Way’ become old as this causes stress. Look for the middle ground and take the road of least resistance if you want to stay young. 😉

I have already bought your lips and lashes product. Been using both for only a couple days so I can’t really review them yet. However, I would love to see you simplify your packaging! I have spent the last 30 years working on major brands at big agencies and smaller boutique agencies. I know how much your packaging costs! I’d rather a lower priced product in simple eco friendly packaging bc let’s face it, it all end up in the trash. You could easily have very high end but much more simple, classy and not overproduced. I can’t imagine people these days liking this expensive garbage. Even magnets! So unnecessary! Please reconsider your packaging line it could be so much cooler and modern!

Have to say I am concerned as my 19 year old daughter uses AHA, retinol etc as many young women do. Fortunately she hasnt had lip fillers etc as yet but many young women are destroying their faces by using anti-aging products designed for 40 year olds - and looking MUCH older as a result. These skin care products are all new on the market and we dont know what the effect will be after 30 - 40 years of use. Other methods of exfoliation have proved detrimental to young looking skin in the long run. Plus the synthetic vitamins that get lauded as actual vitamins often prove to be toxic.

I think what is overrated is the push on social media of using retinol daily . I worked w a plastic surgeon who also owns a med spa. I was talking to him about a specific procedure and he asked about my skincare regime and retinol usage. I told him I use it approximately 2-3 x/ week. He commended me and said retinol usage is a marathon not a race. He has seen negative impacts from people trying to use it daily. Too many people wanting it to be a short term miracle worker when it’s really something you’ll see the benefits of over the course of your lifetime. Many different outlooks on this, but i happen to agree.

@@lovejoy71422 not true, the earlier you start using Retin A, your skin will thin, "get use " to retinol if you will.. I avoid retinol at all costs. Vit Cmis great and sun screen everyday rain or shine.
@energeticsoulhealer8882 ай бұрын
I completely disagree. I began using tretinoin .1% two years ago, and it's been life changing. I've spent thousands upon thousands over the years (I'm 56) on various procedures, along with getting a facial every other week for years. NOTHING made a difference like tretinoin has. I've stopped everything else, and do tretinoin and I also recently began microneedling with korabeauticals pen. That's it. My skin is better than its ever been. It's soft, supple, smooth, and wrinkle free. Tretinoin is everything, and a game changer.

Why does every picture of someone meditating show a person sitting cross-legged with fingers in a circle, thumb-finger position and eyes closed? That looks very "Hindu" to me. I'm not Hindu. And my knees sometimes don't let me sit cross-legged. So what is meditation, really, for the rest of us? It is simply thinking about, or "chewing on" the Bible or whatever your holy references are. And you don't have to sit in that position to do it. Every morning I'm in my bed, legs in front of me relaxed, reading my devotion for the day, and praying to God. Or sometimes I'm in my car driving or just out for a walk. Sometimes it's just listening for God's voice after I've prayed. So there you go. Have an amazing day.❤

We "meditate" in nature; sitting on a bench, leaning on a tree, walking, etc. We are retired and traveling full-time in an RV, so we get to see places in our country that are breathtaking. Has been the single most de-stressing change in our lives (we are a married couple). Retirement and freedom from a mortgage payment is rejuvenating.

Is it too late to improve my skin? Do I need other products than the ones here mentioned. Thanks Dr for all the great information you sent our way. Greatly appreciated.

You probably don't need a lot to make a difference. A retinol product to put on every night to renew cells and a good moisturiser with that. Several times a week use an AHA product in the morning to gently exfoliate and this renews cells and improves texture too. Then put on a good moisturiser over top. None of these need to be expensive either. It will make a difference. Plus good healthy real food diet. Avoid sugar and seed oils.

Re stress and aging this is just common sense. We don’t need science to permit us to take action here. i can attest after 2 decades of meditation it does produce the desired benefit of reducing age ing, not never aging though. There maybe those people who are not mentally ready for meditation. In this case i suggest starting with 5 minutes a day to create the daily habit. Commit to 90 days. Or put on a guided meditation as a unsettled mind may need something to focus on initially. Ideally 20 minutes in the morning daily but even better if time permits 20 minutes in the evening. It can be really simple too-we don’t need to complicate it-observe the breath, notice your thoughts, notice when you have become lost in your thoughts and simply return back to the breath. You may experience all the states of being; bliss, anger, sadness, joy-its all part of this ‘being’ experience which is the whole point. To be with yourself: without the doing, or thinking you have to get from A to B.

Look for his video on sweet almond oil, it is nature's retinol which lightens the sun/ age spots. I use Castor oil, coconut oil or the sweet almond oil,. Whichever oil you get , just make sure you get cold pressed & organic and if getting the castor oil, buy it in the glass bottle, not the plastic as it will contaminate the castor oil. I like all three, I used to do botox on the reg but now I like learning about these oils. It takes longer but I think it's healthier for me and good for the body, I get just as many compliments on my skin now as I did when I got botox.

@kimwarner1681 Can I ask please how do you use the sweet almond oil? Do apply on clean skin before bed or use other Serums first? I use castor oil occasionally but personally find it quite thick and gloopy on the skin, hard to sink in. I would love to find something natural that helps fade dark spots!

What do you think about fraxel restore? My LME recommended I try it this winter. I'll be turning 50 in Feb of 2025. I have good skin, no acne, scars, or even hyper pigmentation. A bit of Rosacea . I can be reactive sometimes and not others. I now get microneedling monthly 4 to 6 weeks apart. I'm just trying to keep as much collagen as I can. I have been tolerating deeper microneedling with skin pen really well. Surprisingly, because my skin seems to hate even mild chemical peels. I'm not sure if I should go back to doing a package they have at the office I go to. It's 3 peels alternating with microneedling or try 1 fraxel restore and be done with the winter. Go back to microneedling in the spring. I just don't know if it's worth it for me if I don't have any major issues. I will get a maintenance vial of sculptra next year as well. My husband really gets mad at me when I turn red and peel. If they do peels, they have to be very, very light. I worry about the downtime with Fraxel. I've read your face turns brown, then you peel, and it lasts a week. That's why if I did it, it would only be 1. I don't think I can do a package. I hate getting yelled at from my husband!!! Lol! 😆

@rajanimdskincare thank you, I don't think I can handle 4. I think it's too much downtime for me. I'll probably just stick with microneedling plus keep using my retin A at night and vitamin c and azelic acid plus lots of sunscreen the mornings. Azelic acid seems to work very well for my slight redness. I did ipl, and it really didn't do much for me. I'm happy I tried, though. Thanks for your reply. 😊

Thank you doctor! Mild peeling, once or twice a week, at night, seems to work great for me!
