This guy gives trash info. Your "pack" is solely based on the number of abdominal bands (tendinous intersections). Some people only have 2 per side, some have 4. You could do sit-ups for the rest of your life every waking moment. But if you only have 2 bands per side, you'll only EVER have a 4 pack. You can't grow tendinous intersections.

I think it’s important for people who haven’t worked out in a while to not do this everyday, but 2-3 times a week. Eventually, it’ll lead to burnout and your muscles need to rest properly. Here’s to getting shredded in ‘24!!!
@dave8510410 ай бұрын
I definitely agree to rest more for newcomers but abs are such a well used muscle group that its rest period is generally shorter than others like arms, chest, etc. But of course listen to your body and rest when needed! Cheers!
@fidelmontiel28979 ай бұрын
Can I do this after doing a fat burning workout?
@dave851049 ай бұрын
@@fidelmontiel2897 by fat burning, do you mean more of a circuit of exercises, cardio, or some kind of rumba/workout class? In my opinion, it's totally fine to do after your other stuff. Abs don't necessarily get sore like other muscles do unless you are actually overworking them. I would recommend a good 10 min rest before you start though. As always, listen to your body and take a break when in doubt. Cheers!
@issueradar84089 ай бұрын
is four times a week, and three days rest good?
@dave851049 ай бұрын
@@issueradar8408 yup thats sounds great! Of course if you think you can do more, try to occasionally test out 5 days of workout and 2 days rest.... and then so on till everyday. Right now I do 4 days of workouts and then 3 days rest too, but that's more cuz I do other workouts and runs during the week. So to each their own. Look to others for guidance but not to compare your progress/journey cuz you know your body best. Best of luck!

Chris' workouts are the real deal. I saw amazing results with the 20 minute ab workout. I felt like I wasn't making much progress and so I started going a little lighter with my workouts (getting covid while on a cruise a couple of weeks ago has also forced me to slow down, because my lungs couldn't handle any of these intense workouts lol) over the winter and looking back now at the photos I took during the summer, I can't help but be grateful for these videos. I looked better than I ever have, at any point in my life! I've just lost a couple of pounds of muscle, since September but I know that these videos will help me to get back to where I was and beyond that, in no time! There's my kiss ass message for the year lol I've said it on other videos but If you are having trouble with these workouts at first, do NOT give up! Start 2/05. Will update here every week. in parallel, I also keeping the consistency of a 3 days a week power training in gym. Week 1 (76.5kg,no abs at all) 7/7✅, average performance of workout I'll give 60% even I am on the advanced level. Week 2 (75.3 kg, no abs at all) 5/7✅, average performance of workout I'll give 80%, it is getting much better I can feel it🔥 Edit: Okay, I think it's a bit unreal to rach 6 packs just with doing this exercise pack every morning, but I'll keep goin. Of course I am also sitting on a calorie deficit and keep goin to the "3 in a week gym" consistency. However, my life started being much easier from the mental corner of view just with doing this routine every morning.

it took me 4 months to be able to complete this circuit without pausing the video for longer than he allows us to (though he cheats us with a shorter time between chair crunches and the in&outs). I still feel like dying by the time the bicycles come up, but they're now doable as opposed to when I first started back in January.

Thanks for your work Chris, you really change my life, we need more workouts like this in 2024. Happy 2024!

Another good tip I heard for abs during workouts is try to make your belly button touch your spine during the exercises. Also during some reps (for any body exercise), hold the exercise for 2-3 secs each rep when you feel the muscle is the tightest. A couple in here I haven’t tried, thanks.🎩
