Not a goal for 2025, but I’ve been consistently resistance training for the last 2 months, last week I was camping so my work outs were more cardio based (hiking, running, etc.) today was my first day back in the gym post trip and I benched 5 pounds higher for all my reps, squatted heavier and used heavier weights for my bent over rows and it felt good! May not be huge numbers, but it’s a huge strength gain for me! And that’s really been my goal -get back to feeling strong and healthy then we’ll focus on aesthetics.

Maybe it could be the avocado, yoghurt, and bone broth that are causing flare-ups in the skin. They are rich in histamine, and for people with allergies, this can be a problem. I have been allergic to wheat , dairy, and more since I was 2. Im 32 now. I have learnt a lot, and I am doing much better now, but still, skin can be tricky. I have a whole regime.😂😂 I hope the tip helps. Maybe just reduce the amount in your diet. I have learnt so much from you. You have been so helpful on my journey. Thank you Xx

What are you eating/doing? I have celiac and can’t do dairy. I also can’t tolerate the protein in chicken and egg whites. Can’t tolerate pea protein or cocoa among others…I’m at a loss of what to eat

@MisforMakeup I stay away from gluten-free flour, I really dont trust the process. I think it could cause more harm than its true self. I also don't eat any protein powders. I eat alot of fruits (especially pawpaw) vegetables, all meats, fish, eggs and I find that my body can tolerate butter and cream in moderation it's the protein in the dairy that can cause issues for me. I also wash with ACV. I can't use soap, I used to use baby soap on my body, but i only use it to wash my hands and underwear now. I am much better. I once in a while can have some yoghurt. Such an improvement over the years, I was so unwell. I also drinka lott of water. I also only use animal fats or coconut oil to cook with. I think all these things have helped me over the years.

Also, I ran a marathon [MCM 2009] and I decided it was going to be a thing after completing two NYRR half marathon Grand Prix. Back in the [good old] days we had a 21.1km race in the 5 Burroughs of the city from Manhattan [2+ laps of the Central Park 6 mile loop] in January, Bronx in February or March, Brooklyn [originally from Coney Island to Prospect Park then the correct route, reversed running TO the ocean] in May, Queens in July [gratitude to the true community supporters that put their stereo speakers out their windows and blasted an upbeat anthem cd on loop that Saturday and or Sunday morning], and the Staten Island 21.1km always 3 weeks before the big NYC conga line [aka, NYCM]. After completing the Grand Prix twice I just needed to adjust my long runs from 10, 12.5 & 15 to 15, 17.5 & 20. Sadly NIMBY ended the full series. When it comes to fitness journeys the work is the commitment to finding the routine that facilitates your escape velocity to get to your goal. Purchase has two applicable meanings: Buy in and making secure enough footing to apply power to one’s advantage.

since you seem to be eating low carb now, did you consider you could be getting Keto Rash? I tried keto on and off since 2019 and got keto rash a few times on it.

regarding Dexter, the first 5 seasons were awesome! I have indoctrinated myself to think that this was the end of the show. I still watched it all and there were some fascinating characters in later seasons as well

I'm taking September to see where I'm at with my food and exercise. I have loose calories/macros set up and I have a flexible workout schedule. Next week I'll start a more consistent one, but I want to see where I'm at with regular eating and if I do some exercise but not stick to a strict one (because life happens). And then I can adjust and see where a good consistent pace with exercise and food will be. I want to get to a place where I have that good relationship with food. Not just talking about it and knowing what I should be doing, but actually putting it into practice. My goal for the last part of the year and so on is to get my body to a place where I'm happy with it. I want to be happy and healthy and love my body.

TBH, i’m a college professor so fall is my reset… My plan is to get back on track as far as regular fitness, less drinking 🍷, probably tracking my macros at least for a little while to see what’s going on with them… Also, salt lamps, good for more than just warm light. You’re aware of the myriad benefits, right?

My issues started looooong before Covid. I’ve had skin issues my whole life 😫 but yeah I’ve heard that a lot of people had MCAS triggered by the vaccine or covid itself 😭

Dexter was mad fun back in the day, you're in for a good time. I know a lot of people didn't like the ending but I found it made a lot of sense regarding the lead up to the final episode. Hope you let us know your thoughts when you finish it :)

My new year goal is to compete in a powerlifting meet! I've been in a deficit for a long time now, but am not THAT consistent. I will be traveling abroad in October, so I will be taking a diet and fitness 2 week break. My plan is to finish the year eating at maintenance and fully focus on my training. Then, maybe 2-3 months out of the meet day, I will cut. I have about 5-10lbs of fat to lose, so I don't want to rush it and go in a lower deficit or start adding cardio in for the extra burn. Hoping I can maintain at the lower bodyweight after the meet and just focus on hitting specific PR goals for the year. I'm flabby in my midsection , so I want to intentionally train my abs more as well since I haven't done that in YEARS.

Dexter - my opinion is to watch it knowing that you will be disappointed. I did this with Lost and I wasn't as disappointed as everyone who had watched it when the series aired. Dexter is a great show for many seasons, so even the last season isn't bad, and there will be characters that you'll want to find out what happened to. :)

Potentially disappointed. I saw portions of it as well as the ending. Loved it all...but moreso just neutral about the ending, not deflated. I'd watch it all from beginning to end. Also, your video is still playing and you said Alexa and my Alexa said she couldn't hear you very well and to try again 😂
