I love working nights. There's nobody at the gym late at night and nobody at work to bother me. The worst part about doing renovations in a hospital are all the extra people there during the day. Also, there's no traffic when you work at night.

I work for a hospital reviewing L&D charges and here in SC we are just at the start of the “summertime rush.” Every year for the past 10 years that I’ve been doing this the summer is baby season. Just like for you the population is up for mommas all over the hospital. You’ve got this. ❤

i’m watching this while crying i’m in my first year (of 5 years) of medical school and its finals season and its been so hard to stay as motivated as i was at first and its getting harder to study for long hours, i know my career depends on it and i know that i would be devastated if i didnt study well but i just cant bring myself to study properly, its so exhausting. i watch your videos cuz i put myself in your place and imagine myself after 5 years being where you are and it gives me hope it makes it feel worth it at the end cuz i can see what is waiting at the end of this journey and even with you describing how tired you are and how hard it is sometimes it still feels worth it, i love medicine so much i cant imagine myself being smth else other than a doctor but it doesnt feel so glamorous and fun rn with all the huge anatomy and physiology and biochemistry books it feels too much right now with all that being said i love your videos so much and i still watch your old medical school videos cuz they feel like different parts of the journey ill be on in the future and i know it wont be the same but you give me hope that it is doable and worth it. please never stop making your videos, ive been watching them since you were in your second or third year and i remember that videos where you were so excited while studying ob gyn and saying that this might be what you want to do for the rest of your life it was one of the most beautiful videos you have ever made and also the one with your first delivery. you’re so amazing. thank you. ❤️❤️

I have a large family friend who has had FIFTEEN c-sections. They have to deliver her weeks early every time, but she had every baby in her very large family by c-section. She's had really look to find an OB to treat her in her journey of having a large family. Her abdomen scars looked like a bit like Frankenstein. My 4th delivery was a c-section, due to a pretty severe placental abruption during labor. My 5th delivery, with twins, was an attempted VBAC 11 months after my prior c-section, which was going well until 18 hours into labor. Baby B pushed baby Am who was in position, transverse so a repeat c-section ended up being needed.

My grandmother is a former pianist of the Cuba’s National Orchestra. She started her piano career since she was little and she is still a judge in some kind of kids competitions here in Miami. I have seen her play piano like an angel, I know only extraordinary and gifted people can do what Patrick did. ( I am telling you this because grandma tried to teach me, but I only got the basics like “happy birthday” song. Brought me peace, memories… he made my day❤
