My father has been drinking warm milk and honey since the 1940's, he says its like being knocked clean out. I guess some people absorb amino acids on a completely different level.

I believe part of drinking milk before bed is also the fat and protein content... the nutritious element and satiety has been claimed to reduce waking up and hunger while sleeping. I have had sleep issues for years. I have taken melatonin, St. John's wort, Valerian... and just found out since last week that Horlicks with warm milk has improved my sleep than all the years of melatonin and chamomile tea!

I have always wondered if that was true! Thank you so much for including the other types of milk and their benefits and differences. I am in love with the idea of the golden milk at night, I love a cozy drink at bedtime - It makes me feel like home no matter what city we might be in. Great Video!

U can say all u want. Warm milk before bed is the only healthy thing that helps me fall asleep. Ad a little piece of chocolate and I sleep like a baby till morning.

I'm lactose intolerant, so this wouldn't work for me. But what does work for me, is a cup of coffee. It works for me because I have ADHD. It slows me down.

BS. Milk helps me sleep for sure. I have tested it myself. Gone to bed with and without milk. Milk does help. As usual, these healthcare eggheads don't have a clue.
