In most states, food workers don't need a hairnet if they have some kind of hat or visor on. It's why when you go to mcdonalds, the person making burgers rarely has a net, and it's fine.

Tabatha: do you know how to use the espresso machine? Sandy: I love yogurt! Tabatha: the girls say you’re only here 30 minutes a day. Sandy: I love yogurt! Tabatha: you’re selling yogurt, breakfast stuff, baked goods, weird novelty items and coffee. Sandy: I love yogurt! Whoever said Sandy needs a hobby is spot on. She can make her own yogurt at home and start a coin collection. No more businesses.

Tabatha's haircut and false lashes are iconic💕 I have the same haircut but not the courage to dyie it ice blonde...and with them lashes I probably would hardly be able to walk my dog without it ending under a truck wheel. Anyway, I guess she rocks that look!

Beth for the win! I detect a hint of jealousy from Sandy that’s why she hired the “gaggle” of girls because she’s more caught up with an image. Beth is gonna skyrocket this business with Shannon’s help for sure. That’s y it’s good to keep things between family if it’s manageable.

I get this odd feeling that the "owner-wife" is a bit of a Karen, just of the passive-aggressive variety. Comes across soft, but is actually quite mulish.

I do not like her even one ounce. I think she is intimidated by the step daughter and Beth. Those two seem to be strong talented women and Sandy knows she is simply lazy and can’t rise to their level. If I was Shannon I would be above and beyond frustrated that I had to work even harder to support a business my step mother insisted she needed, then drove into the ground.

It’s always amazing to me how often owners reject customers’ opinions and refuse to do local market research. Then they say they don’t understand why they’re losing custom. Do they really not understand that you can only sell what people want?

What's so hilarious about this is they call eachother friends but they did not respect their "friend" as the manager. They are all annoying self entitled brats except Beth who actually cares about the work she does.

well changing floor is a lot of work (probably outside the show's budget) and this episode aired 10 years ago so the design is acceptable at that time before everything turned neutral monochromatic lol

It’s apparent Shannon was raised with work ethics and is calling Sandy out on her laziness and how her decisions are affecting her business. Sandy’s better off renting a space at a consignment store, just shove a ton of stuff in a corner and let it sell itself. I’m not surprised Chill shut down and is now Shannon’s Bakery. She deserves it and it’s thriving.
