Why is it that people think they are disenfranchised or victims when they are justly incarcerated for a crime they DID commit? 🤔
@alyssahamlett2 жыл бұрын
I agree on all crimes with victims violent, financial, theft but I can't get on board with the drug possession offenders(not their victim mentality but they do make it damn near impossible to get ur life together when u get out if u have no family willing to help)...we're incarcerating people who have a mental illness n profiting off them instead of helping. W privatized prisons it has become a business. War on drugs has failed since it started need to do something different. Now ur committing crimes to support ur habit u may end up in prison..it has a purpose were just misusing it
@povertyisamindsetwebsite35082 жыл бұрын
Like Mr. Marilyn said you shouldn't wear it like a scarlet letter. I think when imprisoned, it's probably hard not to think about what you did was wrong and when they release people a lot of times they want them to be rehabilitated...so the whole idea is planted and watered in a prisoner's mind...getting out would be "change" "be better"...still surrounded by fixing or recovering. I suppose the best thing is to regroup and reevaluate instead but your head must get there first...how... Also, I guess i didnt address the victim thing but we are all victims of our minds.
