Oh Boy! You're going to have a big ol' greenhouse. Here's an idea for you that once worked real well for me in a smaller greenhouse. On the inside but the North side where the shade wouldn't cause much of a loss of footage I placed a row of 55 gal barrels (6 of them did my whole N wall, you'd need more, or could just do part of the wall). I then made a rectangular lid that just fit over all the barrels at once of 2"x4" and plywood - like a stud wall the 2x4 fit around the barrels and the plywood was on top. So it's like a bench in the shop ( orient your bungs all the same and cut holes where they are. You don't need to attach it to the barrels, gravity is plenty. There are times you may want to lift it off. Then link all the bottoms of the barrels together for water. I found garden hose fittings, and short hoses handy, just put a male and a female attachment on the side of the barrel a foot or so from the bottom. You want to be able to put the hose in one barrel and fill them all, or open a valve on the last barrel and drain them all to near the bottom. This contraption has several purposes. It's a heat sink. You fill it all with water and it will hold the heat of the day much better through the night. Oh, I forgot to say above - paint all your barrels black to catch more heat. Also, as a heat sink, it not only keeps things warmer at night but it also keeps the mid day high Temps from getting too hot - so it's sort of like a capacitor in electronics, reducing the highs and lows in the temperature sign wave. It also is a great reservoir for an irrigation system. You can stick a garden hose in one end of your series of tanks and have an overfill coming out at the other feeding your irrigation and you won't be watering with cold well water (you could also catch rain water to here, but I'd bet you're going to need more). You can also cool the greenhouse by watering with the warm water just before the hottest parts of the day so some of that incoming heat energy goes into heating the cool barrels. Also now you have a nice work bench in your greenhouse. You may want to put some vinyl flooring on the plywood. You have a nice place to stand and fill seed trays, set trays to spout, trim up produce, etc. On my six barrel bench I left a space between the 3rd and 4th barrel just enough that an old sink I had fit down in the middle of my bench top. It was plumbed by a garden hose fitting too, it only had cold water at the faucet but it had a pull out sprayer too. The drain for it went into a hose to any bed in the greenhouse I chose and wasn't wasted. Just don't drain it in the barrels because you use it to wash soil off your produce, and you don't want that in your tank. Like I said your greenhouse is much, very much, larger than mine was. I doubt that six barrels would have the same effect as a heat sink in there, but it would still make a nice water tank and work bench. 12 or 20, or however many the North side would take would be better than six for you. You can't have too much bench, you could always use it as a place for potted plants that you could access standing up. You could also start with 6 or 10 barrels and add more in following years.

Good morning Al. I like the way you have the individual brooder houses. I remember many a neighbor having overheated lamps that started fires. Your buildings are a safer alternative. Our mini green house is our next project. I'm also looking at half green houses that could be built off our back kitchen door. Yours is going to make a big difference. My former neighbors in NB Canada had two large green houses for hydroponic tomatoes. It was so NICE to walk into their green houses on a cold, blustery day and be warm and surrounded by GREEN!

I have a suggestion since it is still early in the build of the greenhouse, consider an airlock sort of. I find that the coolish or cold air can damage a couple of plants when you walk into a plain built greenhouse, that is just a thought and worth sharing. Be well and best wishes for the tan man.

Al, you could have your Gina put all those bolts in and then you could tighten them up. I would also take the pc. down to the other end and put them together. That way Gina would not have to carry them so far. Heavy for her to lift. I heard a lot of rain in coming to Pa. I bet you will get some of that rain and wind and maybe some snow. Al, I see that you don't kept the chickens out of the nesting boxes like you used to. Tanner has a big cut there, he's lucky. Al, you see that Ground Hog, shoot it ! This is no spring weather.
