My favorite part of spring is flowers in bloom. Growing up we had so many different colored azaleas, several different crepe myrtles, and 2 or 3 colors of wisteria. We had magnolia and dogwoods, pears, plums, and even wild strawberries. We would pick blackberries and raspberries and suck the nectar out of honey suckle flowers. The air would be heavy with all of the fragrances. Our home had belonged to my grandparents, and mom inherited the house after they passed away. It's been 20 years since I left that home behind and I can still smell the flowers if I think about them.

I love spring because of the frogs we are already starting to hear here in Kentucky. Some trees are starting to bud out as well! My wife and I are also excited about our garden as it will be planted on derby day! Woohoo! But my bar none most favorite thing about spring is the anticipation of the delicious tomatoes we will soon have come this summer. And fishing, although my wife is not so much into that. Lol. My favorite part of spring is the wild coming back to life. I live on a 40-acre wooded lot, I love going out into the back and just listen and watch nature come back to life every mourning. We live far enough off the main street that you can't even hear a car go past.
