Brash was to have spoken at massey a few years ago, braindead indoctrinated students caused so much noise the thick female chancellor, instead of telling them to go somewhere else to protest brash, she cancelled the event, depriving those who wanted to hear Brash from doing so. This is an example of the people teaching these days and the results.

It’s called the Thugs Veto. The academics are totally gutless and have no spine. They are bullied by left wing activists all the time. The universities are places were intolerant fools are indoctrinated now. Not places where you are taught to think. Most uni students are incapable rational debate. They think everyone with an opposing view should be silenced. This is why after leaning Left during Uni I eventually saw through their intolerance & decided to go to Centre right.

The problem for you is that the Treaty did not mention equality. There was no such thing as a democratic governing system at the time when the Treaty was signed. Gov General William Hobson was basically the King in New Zealand amd was like a dictator. Democratic rule didn't come till 1852, 12 years after the Treaty signing with the Constitution Act of New Zealand. And then that paid little attention to the treaty.

yeah but they are pushing their puppet masters narratives and intentionally acting like blm activists so to promote racism, not stop it! one interesting fact, yes Maori are indigenous in the fact that they were here before the British, BUT the current population of maori is only 17% of the population 904k. So two things alarming with that, why should so much go to the minority at the expense of the rest when we are equal according to not just the treaty but basic human rights, not separated by colour nor creed, the globalists did that! But more so, 17% is alarmingly low. The more who have come here, the more the Maoris own bloodline has been out bred. Sadly I see them as a dying race.

20 years since the Orewa speech seems like a lifetime ago. That was when being called "racist" still has some content. Since the spreading hegemony of social justice fundamentalists, probably the majority of New Zealanders have realised smears like "racist", "white supremacist", or "far right" have been worn out with overuse and now simply mean anyone who opposes the woke agenda. Many now see the whole racial agenda was only ever about power.

If ACT wanted a debate, that's one policy, they could have asked for funding for meetings or hui or debates or whatever. A debate is not at all what ACT wants, and their Bill is not about having a debate but about rewriting the treaty to abolish Māori qua Māori from NZ's polity,

I wish all new Zealanders studied treaty of Waitangi or The Riti o Waitangi under the bachelor of Social worker. It may changed some of the confusion about the principles context and concept of the Te Riti I Waitangi.I feel so blessed to identify some of the issues within the Treaty. Pacific people are so get along with Maori and pakeha and other European People. But I don't understand why Seymour mentioned that the treaty was meant to bring all new Zealanders together and get along with each other but they already did. Maybe it's him that needs to get along with Maori people and other ethnic group.. Think twice .😊😊

Co-governance is what was agreed to in our nations founding document. Its not a new thing and it really shouldn't be treated as something controversial. If you owned a home and invited people to live that home with you, and then years down the track the acted like your ancestors had no right to be part of the big decision making for the home, wouldn't you fight for it? Forget ethnicity, imagine two families, and they invite their friends families too, and then their friends invite their own friends and soon its a party and then you all decide that the home owners don't more of a say than the guests you invited last. It just doesn't make sense. The arguments AGAINST co-governance make perfect sense for the guests that arrived last, they're entitled to nothing but someone wants to offer them decision making powers, ofcourse they're gonna take it!

Seymour is polite enough. However what hes trying to do will undermine a partnership agreement between Maori and the Colonists. You cant then decide to undermine and change the understanding of that agreement when it becomes politically opportune to do so. Calling the aforemented action, a defence of democracy is disingenuous and cynically devious. The treaty tribunal was a body of integrity. Best not to leave it to politicans and a media campaign.

One law for all people…why not make it Maori law then? If you want one law you want it only because it suits you. Why does it have to be colonial pakeha law? Especially when te tiriti gives Maori rights to self determination and rights to everything in NZ. Just be happy that Maori have only taken something like 4% of what they’re owed by the crown. Now you want to take away our sovereignty and give it to the govt? You’ll all lose out. That’s because you’re not seeing clearly and are blinded by your bias. We’re lucky to have te tiriti and he whakaputanga. Don’t be so hasty to try and erase them. Maori should have all rights bestowed upon them in te tiriti. And it’s not gonna hurt anyone.
