Conclusion: so if you want the safest for you and your family, drive a giant 40 ton truck.
Claiming it’s embarrassing for the weld on the Lexus to have split - when the passengers are safe, the doors open and there’s no leaks - is a hell of stretch! While I see a number of the Chinese cars not being able to even open doors afterwards, and barely being noted in the footage, and airbag issues are everywhere!

@ what nonsense. There’s MILLIONS of crashes happening every week and the chance of fire is low. Especially from oils. Seriously. As for the weld - it’s been smashed into an unmovable object at 40mph mate. The structure was intact. THAT is what matters. The doors opened. THAT is what matters. The passengers survived. THAT is what matters. This isn’t about defending Lexus - it was an example that the issue that matters the most - the structure, the cage, the doors being opened, the survival of the passengers MATTER - and it passed. HOW many of those Chinese brands did you see struggling to open the doors? I saw them pulling a number of them dude. It felt like they are reaching for an issue, so that the Chinese cars don’t look so bad.

@ what I’m saying is what I said. The structure was sound, the doors opened freely, the passengers survived.

It means the crash at a higher speed would have very poor results vs other vehicles that don't have that same poor structural performance
LMAO so much crap said in this video, it's pure propaganda and nonsense spewed by people who clearly have no clue what they're talking about. Criticizing seatbelt performance on badly placed and sized dummies? Airbags on fire? All airbags are on fire, that's how they work.
