Zach is the first car KZbinr I’ve watched that explains everything in a way where I retain almost all the information he gives us. Normally I get lost mid video because people explain things in a way that is above my knowledge. I love how he thoroughly breaks everything down in a simple yet extensive way. I don’t remember who said it but there’s a saying that goes “if you can’t explain something extremely simple than you don’t understand it enough yourself to be teaching” & zach is a great example of that

Fun car history fact. In the direction the miata is driving, there is the Nash st exit of the 105 freeway. Nash st is named after the Nash Motors factory that used to be there. The factory still exists and it is right off the exit. Boeing bought it a long time ago and now uses the facility to manufacture satellites.

Nice 👍 Thanks for another good segment. So many advances in tuner abilities in last 10 years. Bought my 06’ WRX new. Improved suspension, stereo, rims and other non warranty stuff for first few years. Turbo swap, cat back and most importantly a good tune brought my car alive. Anti lag was not a good idea back then. Difficult to control and hard on everything due to heat. Got good at rev matching and no aggressive launching kept weak ass 5sp from exploding. Last major work done before selling was a fresh new STI short block and a JDM 6sp. Such a great set up for back / country roads. Duke boys would give it a nod. Years pass, now rocking my dream car 911 but that well tuned Subie will probably always be my favourite. The Porsche couldn’t keep up to it on back roads I’m sure. As for hater comments, stick to being below average at everything you do and shut up.

Love these videos. You make it so, even I can understand. Best part is. Most my family is or was into cars. My dad and mother had their own race cars and made names for them selves on the streets and track. I just love getting a double look for making a call on an issue that goes against what their are saying. Especially the look I get when they realize I was rite. Lol. Your amazing. Thank you.

Proper rally anti-lag is designed to keep it on boost off throttle and uses wastegate to feed turbo so when your coming out off turns you always got power. Even the 80s GroupB Audi Quattro had a early flatfoot H pattern designed to make sure you was always on boost.

I honestly think NFS underground 2 is one of the best games out there. The sounds, the modifications, dyno tuning, and of course the free roam! I find myself playing it quite a bit with my old PS2 and a controller over playing games on my PS4 with a sim rig. I would be so happy if they remastered it to modern console!

To add some clarifications, 2step flames requires Ignition Cut to be consistent. Stand alone ECU's can do ignition and/or fuel usually. Stock ECU's have either or baked in, almost never both. So cars that have fuel cut baked in, are difficult to get to spit fire. Where as ignition cut is the cream! Wish my BRZ had ignition cut but oh well.
