Tom Johnston has changed very little over the last 50 years, maybe older and the hair shorter but he's still the same Tom. Like how he encourages participation from the fans. He obviously thinks very highly of them. This is like 1972 has never really left.

Great memory of John's V neck headstock right in my throat as I stood right in front of them at the Carowinds Paladium back in the early 80s. That was the best, and made up my mind, I would be in a band someday! Sadly, Tom wasn't there, but Michael McDonald was. Love em both, and love the doobie bros forever!

Ahh... all state of the art back than!! I got brand new Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan "Can Buy A Thrill" vinyl, just to enjoy the best quality sound and "Fine Columbian" I could effort at the time.
