Eh, I’m unimpressed with arrma. Their 6s line, 3s line and groms were all huge letdowns for me. Not to mention the 8S trucks being at a massive weight disadvantage. I’m also a bit biased because they burned us early fans hard with the 2015 BLX85 line. This same gearbox + monster truck tires is a no go. The idler just shreds.

I agree. Weak diffs, faulty ESCs and weak servos. I have all the Arrmas and my fire team is the only one that has been trouble free. Senton...new diffs, Vendetta...new diffs and servo, Infraction...Esc caught fire, Mojave...faulty Esc. Sweet rigs but not as reliable my Traxxas.

Arrma is so much better than Traxxas. How could any of of there cars be let downs, but people praise the Xmaxx as the best truck ever made. It's durable no dought but handles like shit jumps like shit and electronics are garbage. This hobby is to each there own but paying twice as much for plastic outdated designs is ridiculous. Well if the infamous Jason is watching your video, maybe he should look into the European branch of Horizon cause it is not the best in the market ( and I am referring to the rest of Europe not UK ). Apart from awaiting for new releases to arrive, and feeling stooopid for the difference even in the discounts between Europe and USA not to mention the fact that they change their rigs every 2-3 years maximum, there is always the lack of spare parts from ARRMA, and don't get me started about LOSI. So since these problems are keeping the company from expanding in a proper manner, I believe that the least of the company's problems nowadays is the competition with Traxxas and I am not a fan, but they have a bigger part of the pie, even in my country .... oh and they have plenty of spare parts that are actually available !!!!!! Unfortunately patent law is very complicated and sometimes it's not the first person to do something it's the first person to patent it that gets the right. I'm not sure if Traxxas should have gotten That patent but they did unfortunately.

Perfect video at the perfect time.! 👌 👌 👍 👍 HECK YES I want a new version of the Raider, on the 330mm SC chassis too.!! I'd buy that as soon as I could.!! I'd also love Arrma to make a 4S Felony on the Mojave 4S platform... I'd buy that one whether I could or not, I'd find a way.! 😉 😉 I have a Gorgon (with a 3660, 4200kv motor & 120A, 4S ESC) & a Mojave 4S & they're both fantastic, those chassis have got so much more potential.. Thank you so much for your fantastic videos, please stay safe out there mate & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍

I kinda wonder if this Raider is the remake of the red and white one that to be fair if my memory serves me correctly, was not Arrma made, it was a buggy but the body was a little different, it to was brushed, brushless was just starting to come into the scene, a brushless speed controller and motor would cost over 600$ talk about time have changed, now you can get the same stuff for less than 100$ if you're savvy or find a bad rc with a esc and motor that works. I was wondering if this pre Arrma days buggy is what became their Raider? Not a lot of clues here, and I know I am relying on memory, but it was in the late 80's and Early 90's to mid 90's after that I don't recall seeing it anymore. So I had to buy another brand nope not Traxxas, there was another before their rule.

My Arrmas have always been great out of the box, Traxxas in the last ten years has been hit and miss with crap servos and ESC’s lights of death. Traxxas will fix it for an additional 70 dollars lol which is the warranty. Traxxas parts tend to wear out faster than Arrma, although the water resistance is better in traxxas. Both have their plus and minus’s. Maybe if traxxas fired some administrators they could lower the prices and hire more RnD staff. Arrma could do with making better diffs. I don’t get the lawsuits, capitalism is supposed to be a free market that drives innovation and consumer choice. If someone copies your product then you make a better one. At least that’s the lie we learned we are supposed to have. Lawsuits should be banned when it comes to corporations targeting others.

Why sliper clutch how you get power to wheels and wldnt cush drive be beter
@DoRC4 ай бұрын
Usually a Kush drive is used in conjunction with a slipper clutch. The cush drive is good for smoothing out quick shock loads but it doesn't actually reduce the total amount of energy being transferred. A slipper clutch by its nature will actually reduce the energy transfer so kind of performs a different function.

Did you really just put that diff and rear end back together without cleaning any of it and putting fresh grease in it..? Eww... That's... a sin... to the hobby gods... Also. EFF YOU CEE KAY Traxxas... I have a trx4 and I will NEVER purchase another traxxas product again... I thought they were supposed to be "The BEST name in RC" or some crap like that but all I got was a year of headaches and weeks at a time of having to wait until I could buy replacement parts for whatever broke that week... First it was the shift servo. Then one of the diff lock servos. Then the steering. Then my battery puffed up after not even 6 months of ownership. Then the other diff lock servo. Then the receiver. Then the esc. Then the motor. It's literally had every single electric part in it replaced out of necessity. Not desire to upgrade... It's disgusting... They both share the basic rear motor 2WD buggy architecture that had been the norm for ten years before the Bandit was released. The number of innovations Traxxas put into the Bandit is pretty much zero. The Raider has a completely different chassis design and nothing that goes on around the chassis looks like the Bandit specifically.
