My dermatologist told me to stop or cut down on drinking milk (inc cheese and esp yogurts) and tea. Also, drink a lot of water. No lie, my acne significantly got better, I still get a few here and there, of course. But, nowhere near as bad I was. Hope this helps! Edit: I’m getting a lot of replies regarding stopping milk being in our diets, don’t completely cut it out of your diets, obviously. I didn’t write my comment the best, and didn’t expect my comment to be as popular as it is. I just wanted to help, and not have other people fork out 50e a session like I had to. My Dermatologist meant to cut it out, but only for a time, so you get your acne down to a reasonable or manageable level. Also, I had a second visit with her recently, and she told me the following: cut out sugar (this only works for some people, not all), take regular showers if you have greasy/oily skin, and water is only a temporary fix, meaning once you stop your acne will come with full force again, so keep taking it regularly. She also mentioned the sun can indeed help with acne, but it’s a double sided coin for some. It could help one person but it could also make it worse for others, due to the UV rays it’ll help clear skin, but the heat will cause you to sweat and the skin to get oliy, then make it worse for some. .

Think, why only cow milk has extra calcium? soja or almond milk don't come with extra calcium, that's because they don't mess with your PH, they put the extra calcium in cow milk because they are trying to compensate for the weaker bones you are gonna get when older, sometimes it work, others don't, and that's when you see people complaining "why did I get osteoporosis? @rita Hi Rita, below is some expert advice on how glasses can cause acne but with regards to the itchy eyes, could it instead be to do with a skin product you are using to treat acne? HOW GLASSES CAN CAUSE BREAKOUTS "The reason for this is because oils, bacteria, skin debris, etc. can stay trapped under the part(s) of the frame that have contact with the skin. This leads to clogged pores and acne.” "Anywhere the glasses make contact with the skin is where localized breakouts can occur.” - Dr. David Cangello, MD FACS Cangello Plastic Surgery "The friction actually can result in something called ‘acne mechanica,’ where the pores become clogged simply because of the constant pressure and rubbing.” - Dr. Whitney Bowe, Dermatologist / Author of "The Beauty of Dirty Skin," WHAT TO DO Other than keeping your skin clean "make sure to wash glasses daily to remove bacteria and oils from them. You should start getting into the skincare side of youtube! It has helped me sooo much! My favs are James Welsh, Hyram, Cassandra Bankson, Liah Yoo, and Dr. Dray. Some tips: 1. Only wash your face at most twice a day (morning, night). Any more can be very stripping and drying especially if you are using soap meant for the body or hands. 2. Find a decent facial cleanser! These are much more gentle and often will have ingredients MEANT to fight acne. The #1 ingredient I reccomend is Salicylic Acid, but try to keep it under the 2% mark otherwise it may be too drying. 3. After cleansing (washing), ALWAYS moisturize! Not moisturizing will make your skin extremely dry (which often causes even MORE acne) and susceptible to damage if you go into the sun. 4. ALWAYS use sunscreen in the morning after cleansing and moisturizing your face. The sun can also cause damage to your skin and also causes aging. Even if you don't care about aging, its still a good idea to protect your skin. 5. Try to stay away from fragrance, especially if you know your skin is sensitive. This doesn't matter too much with cleansers, since youre washing it off immediately, but fragrances can be sensitizing and cause redness and itchiness, which then will make you touch your face and cause breakouts. 6. You may think all this is expensive, but there are some great brands with all sub $20 (even sometimes sub $15) products such as The Ordinary and The Inkey List. 7. Finally, you do not need a complex skincare routine. All you need is a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen, and youre good to go! Hope this helps!

@@mochiyeosang1908 Tysm! I use lotions that use 4% (the 10% one was wayyy too much for me, I almost skipped school because it made my face so red and puffy) Salicylic Acid and I try to keep my face moisturized with normal lotions made for, you know, keeping skin moisturized. I don’t normally carry sunscreen with me though... I may try to, but I travel lots and I’ve never seen small sunscreen bottles near me. Currently, I use the 4% acid (as said earlier) and soon I will be using anti fungal hairwash prescribed by my orthodontist. I didn’t catch all the details, but problems with dead skin and yeast (+ very dry and oily skin) have been a problem for my fathers side for generations. At one point, it got so bad I was sent home because the nurses thought I had chicken pox x) But thank you again! I will definitely check out those channels.

I dont eat processed foods, drink only water (no more alkohol as well). About 3-4 months after moving out I had no more acne. Before this I had regular outbreaks and always some red spots from past outbreaks. My skin is clear now. To me it is quite obvious that the change in diet cleared my skin. Besides I feel like my self-esteem increased a lot and I generally feel much better in my skin. I think avoiding sugar and milk, as well as eating a lot of vegetables were the most important parts for healing my skin. I would strongly recommend trying this for several months if you deal with acne. I also started meditation and daily yoga/stretching around that time, as my muscles were too stiff to even stand upright and relaxed and my mind was constantly agitated. I can recommend both of these things as well. I cant overstate how awesome it feels to have a upright and relaxed posture and a calm mind.

OMG😭😭 I'm 18, and I ONLY GET PIMPLES IN THE "DEATH ZONE"!!!!😭and many a times these zits/pimples/cysts (they're big ones I don't know which type they belong to) are so painful and keep on growing for days that I pop them using cotton and hot water or just my fingers, sometimes they pop on their own too.. All in all, I have a hell lot of spots and bumps left from these pimples in my nose. I went to a local doctor when I was 15/16 and he said it's just hormonal changes and is nothing to worry about (but I think I should consult dermatologist now), since the time all this pimple popping stuff has started in my life I've constantly lost my vision (can it be related?) I've even developed some sorta nose block issue where if I sleep on one side it gets blocked and troubles in breathing.. Heckk ARE THESE CONNECTED??? 😭😭😭 I'm SCARED SHIT

And my most recent pimple didn't take it well and I had to wear a bandage on it to stop myself and because it was no longer considered a pimple it was a wound.

Dear my fellow acne sufferers (while mine has never been extremely severe): If you are not already, you should start getting into the skincare side of youtube! It has helped me sooo much! My favs are James Welsh, Hyram, Cassandra Bankson, Liah Yoo, and Dr. Dray. All of them reccomend some great products that DO work and have only beneficial ingredients. Edit: also, if you're able to and have actual concerns such as possible fungal acne, rosasia, or other skin diseases, go to a dermatologist. i'm american so its quite expensive, but my health insurance covered it despite imo not being super severe (other than maybe mild fungal acne... still waiting on my appt). I know in Europe, according to James Welsh, dermatologists are hard to come by, but on the other hand, South Korea has plenty of dermatologists that cost next to nothing compared to America, and that there is a country that is HUGE on skincare.

I pick at my acne. Actually, last year the picking got so bad that I ended up cutting into my skin to the point of bleeding. When scabs formed I picked those away over and over and would make the wound deeper. It didn’t hurt (usually). I became obsessed with it and couldn’t stop. I’d do it self consciously without even knowing it. It became so bad I’ve actually scarred myself. Luckily I got it under control and even though I still pick a little bit, I have stopped, have gotten my acne under control and now the scars have started fading just after one summer. I know no one wanted to know but I just felt like writing this.

Best way is to avoid them altogether, shower before and after bed with soap, brush teeth, wash bed sheets, avoid touching your face but if you have to wash your hands first. I'm not sure if I was lucky, but my pimples were normally solid and could be removed very easily, but I had to remove them or else they would get embedded into my skin, and digging them out after that happened was not fun.

One time I saw this dude with a giant pimple on his face. It may have been a cyst but it didn’t have a thin layer that needed to be removed. On that day I had gloves antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer with me as well as a packet of clean tissues. I asked him if I could get it because it was obviously causing a lot of pain and discomfort. I started by cleaning the area with the wipes and disinfecting my hands and gloves. I then pushed down about an inch from the visible head and a lot of pus came out. I pushed down until nothing came out. I then cleaned it up and later came back to see how he was doing and decided that there was probably more pus in it. I then repeated the process but a little closer this time and the rest of the pus came out. Told him to keep it clean. Saw him the next week and it was all healed up. No returning bump or pimple.
