OK, What does your lawyer tell you? Don’t talk to the police. First realize that in most states the DOT are state police. Even if in the state that you are in they will be a witness for the state against you. If you get stopped, pulled in and told to bring paperwork in or for an inspection, you are being detained. If they start questioning you, remind them that you have not been given your Maranda rights, you want to remain silent and not answer any questions until your attorney is present. Give him whatever he asks for, your CDL, your permit book and access to your ELOG and your BOL’s. You have the right to remain silent so keep your mouth shut. The reason they question you is to try and catch you saying anything that is contradictory to what your paperwork says. How else can I say it? Shut up, quit talking, remain silent. Even if he wants to give you a ticket or arrest you, keep your mouth shut. Is your attorney there? No, then don’t say a word. Stop witnessing against yourself.

Walks away comes back with a twenty dollar bill an says hey do me a favor an give me change for my $20. I realised he was trying to see if I had any receipts in my money so that he could use it against me. But I had none in my pocket😂😂😂😂

By default, the officer turned himself into a self-appointed qualified medical professional going overboard beyond the scope of his qualification. Never has there been a medical professional evaluation that would disqualify a driver for having a common cold and for taking antibiotic. It's a slippery slope that needs to be checked before it gets too late.

You just say I'm good... And ask them the same ... Most let it go then and the buddy buddy routine disappears and they either want your credentials. Etc .. and let you go or pull a lvl 2 or 3 ... Again I just thought that was common sense to not give them too much information ... Because what you say can be used against you etc... Its not just that, you can also be placed out of service if you are sore and say you take bayer or any other aspirin for same reason. Heck if they see it in plainview they can argue you are using it and put you out of service for it. They are just betting that you wont or cant fight it.
