even tho I am not archon this video is pure gold, i actually almost love it when i destory my offlane and 3 or 4 people tp bot constantly just to try winning lane and even if i die i know or i just hope that my mid and safe lane doing something with the space, dota is a game of handling resources and this video shows it perfectly sadly a lot of people misunderstand even the value of an tp, when u learn this its actually one of the biggest fun parts of the game i love these strategic elements of the game

As long as you made the enemy team, let’s say 4 or 5 of them commit their tp in the opposite lane where your carry is farming then we good. And don’t forget to all chat “space created” every time you do that hahaha it makes them tilt a bit.

The thing about the last point is that offlane in Archon really is just "I didn't get position 1 or 2" so they farm like a hard carry anyway instead of being the space maker.

The amount of times as a support that I see plays that could be made on the map but my team is busy 4-man jungling... Not just two cores sabotaging each other but FOUR heroes splitting the XP and gold while we could be getting outposts, deep warding or ganking together. And of course, if I die, I get the usual "stick noob". Makes my blood boil.

kytta I usually try to find someone in a game I can work with whether or be the mid offlane or 4, (since I usually play 5) and just smoke and work with them. You make a good play or two and ppl seem to trust you more on calling shots and such.

I think the reason a lot of people try to show up to fights late instead of just continuing to farm after a lost cause is because of an anxiety of getting yelled at by your team mates. If you know for sure that your team can't fight something and go off to the opposite lane to farm (like you're on AM or something), it's almost inevitable to get spam pinged by people and blamed for not being at the fight despite 2 people getting literally one shot by 4 or 5 enemy heroes. It's a very LoL mentality that crossed over to DotA which is the idea that you should be grouped as 5 in one lane past like 10 minutes, when in reality that's the worst possible thing you could do.

Wow, my last ranking I received was Archon 4 and these are the MOST common problems I see at my level of play. The whole idea of TPing into bad fights seems to be almost a bad habit these players have. I’ve learned early on about the proper way to join a fight but there’s still people who just look at the map, see some enemy heroes, and TP to the front of a tower.

While I don't disagree with all these points, I'm not convinced this is going to do much in terms of getting out of Archon bracket. The percentage of games that are won by having an edge in terms of farm and xp is incredibly small, most games are won by having an abysmal skill difference between teams and/or because of trolling/careless/awful players. If you are smurfing from a very high rank, you can cheese your way past the rank, but if you're not willing to play pos 1/2 and not smurfing, it's absolutely insane how many games it can take you to go up. Out of 20 games, you get 1 or 2 games that aren't a complete stomp and it's very difficult to give it your all every game after a bunch of games where your enemies are awful and/or your allies are ruining the game. It's easy to assume that the fault is within the common denominator (me) and to a degree, it could be true, but I think coaches such as DAlchemy are biased in that sense because the majority of the games they play are in a different environment. You think you also get a bunch of clowns and bad players at Ancient? Well, Archons and bellow have much darker definitions for "a bunch" and "bad".

Today I just lost 5 games in a row as pos 4/5. No idea why, maybe I suck, but I always try my best in game. I never feed, even if I was losing my death would amount the lowest of the team, and with only slight difference with my kill. Sometimes I just want to scream watching how stupid my cores are, how they are not listening to you at picking phase because they would be countered hard. I wished that gid gud go up rank apply to anyone, but these days make you not believe that at all.

@@amirulhakim9898 first tip, play meta support heroes, treant and furion is op rn. second tip, pick support buy wards dont steal idiot carry farm, but farm hard, mid just died? tp to lane and secure xp for level 6. 3rd tip play support like siractionslacks does. watch his how to getout of trench tier, it sounds counterproductive but its actually the fastest way you can get out of shit tier. its not the proper way, you wont learn dota but you will gain mmr. 4th tip, dont care about mmr, the less you care the more likely you will play better.

Jenkins i am doing that all the time - trying to farm seperately. I tell my team - the fight is over, split push, farm seperate places. But they go fight 3v5 - since one of our teamates died and i am pushing lane where enemy is not, they die and ping me, that i didnt come to help. I do go die and draw attention for 4 heroes to kill me and 2 ultimates and i revive in 20-30 seconds, thats obviously a win mathematically, since im the support especially or offlaner. But the problem is that instead of using the space i gave them - i look at my team and they are pinging me, town portal scrolls and telling me that i should stop feeding. And all this time basically stand in once place. After they are dont expressing emotions they go in furthest place in our jungle from middle(safest camps) and farm there. I say - go push lanes and take outpost - kill a tower or set up a gank. But they mute me and say "stfu feeder" and farm safest camp, cos they feel - if one person from our team died that means that theyre 4v5 and cant take a fight and their morale is down - they dont feel strong. I say - they just used 2 tp scrolls, there is no chance from 5 of them ganking you - they used 2 ultimates. how can they win a teamfight? But no - they dont trust me, since i am dead and i shouldnt be speaking...

Actually these mistakes occur in gaurdian and herald too. like ALL THE TIME!!! I look at members of my team and say to myself. 'Why are you here? did you not see me tp here?' So I have learnt to recognize a free lane and tp there and keep farming even if a fight breaks out in other lanes. Cant do much if i tped out already.

I'm low immortal and I had about 60% wr on my Archon smurf. I was always griefed by my own team every game and somehow there seemed to be a very high skill disparity between my team and the enemy team. The enemy always had to the good players, who played no different from 3-4k players. So technically most games were 4 heralds and 1 low immortal vs 3 legends and 2 ancients. Felt really weird playing in Archon.

It's possible. But in legend and ancient have lots of smurfs. I played an average of 3.2k mmr match as veno. I destroyed the enemy carry but the enemy mid sf (ancient 3) destroyed my mid clinkz (archon 4). On the 20 mins. They run us to our base and destroyed the shit out of us. 2 ancient players on the enemy with 3 archon versus us with 2 lengend players and 3 archon players. The match is so unbalanced.

@@buzan2296 yeah 3 skilled enemy versus you alone is a complete stomp. I experienced that. I improved a lot from guardian to legend. But in legend games you have ancient enemies and archon allies. The matchmaking is fucked up from high archon to ancient. The skill gap from divine to low immortal is not that big because most players there were good.

I play on an Archon account as a Divine 1 and the best way to do it is to take mid every time, buy your own wards etc. You can almost always carry 4 people on your back.

Archon? I'm ancient and I see people doing this stuff ALL THE TIME. The lion that died probably looked on the minimap right after for someone to blame and pinged the weaver for farming instead of coming to the fight. Also, if weaver takes the "dangerous farm" and dies, I promise his team will be saying "why are you so far out past the river all by yourself when they have a riki that can smokescreen you?" No way they will see that death and say "that's fine it's not our carry." Even if no one in your current game is being toxic, I think most dota players have been conditioned by years of toxicity to instinctively make the play that will piss the fewest people off instead of the actual optimal play.

It's very viable as he is a transitional hero. It's easy for him to get one or two items and do major damage. Veil alone can help an entire team. His slow and HP then reduction is massive in fights.

I'm stuck at Archon 2 right now ( was archon 5 week ago) and I have second account Ancient 4 created 1 year ago. I would scream and throw game if I would have this weaver in my team. It doesn't happens often but when it happens I'm tilted.. i need to work on that.. It feels impossible to win in solo que if you don't have "decent" team because even if you have DECENT team, they suck. With my team (friends) we still didn't lost once in 30-40 matches but I lost everything by playing fucking solo que.. One day we win 3 matches and later I lose 1 or 2, sometimes I win (had 16 solo winstreak few months ago but lost it coz of 10 loss streak xD) and gain some mmr but after that Valve's 50% winrate puts me with idiots so it's really impossible to climb up if you don't have luck. I watched every video of archon and legend players and I really feel that they are fools who think that they know how to play and I KNOW THAT EVEN IF I'M BETTER THAN THEM ALL, I STILL SUCK BECAUSE I'M IN SAME BRACKET AS THEM. I play offlane and support mostly, what to do bro.. I can't spam heroes who can stomp solo in 15mins. Worst thing is that I can't play with friends because we play every or second day for 1 or 2 matches but I play around 5-6-7 minimum per day. Thats problem. Also I dropped from 3k to 1.9k multiple times in 2-3 months and gained back because everyone is freaking bad but I still didn't crossed over 3k on my main. When I started to lose I can't stop playing. It's like when I lose 5 matches in a row , I play that day till I lose 10-15 matches in a row. I don't care for this shit anymore....

then maybe other mistakes. maybe it's ur positioning, buyback sense, laning, map awareness etc. i grinded my brothers 500mmr herald account into 3k while playing in SEA and im just ancient. so again it boils back to YOU, the only constant in all your games. teammates suck? ofcourse theyre guardian or herald shitters, but if in 1 team there is a better player then the other 9 fuckers the team with the better player will statistically win.

Have to beg my 4k teams to split push sometimes so that we can trade towers, instead of trying to take a 5v5 fight at a T2 where we aren't prepared. Like just let the enemy team run around as 5 taking a few towers, as long as we're trading with them, it'll all be fine.

I play a lot of passive farming carries from mid, consistently on-par with 4.5k players' networth playing the same heroes, but I'm 2.5k. I can't imagine how many games I've felt like I'm fighting my own team for farm. I 4th an pick alc, meepo, naga, etc, maybe say something like, "pick a strong lane, I'll need priority in the jungle before I come online", then comes the last pick safelane drow or faceless void that wants to build a BF. They chase me around the map while I waste a bunch of time trying to farm the deadlane, then my timings are late, most of the time the other guys don't even come online, and it's just not enough to win. So frustrating.

I think people TP to lost teamfights etc. because they are trying to avoid getting yelled at and accused they didn't help. Even if they couldn't possibly help. When you TP and die with the morons, you're one of them and they're not gonna blame you for anything. And there's always someone who will not TP so you'll have another scapegoat. Everything is fine.
