I really appreciate how you get straight to it with no preamble about yourself or anything else. Then you teach with clear succinct directions and demonstrate with large needles and thick yarn so that it is easy to see every detail of the process. Masterly!

Thank you for providing the little details that make the process crystal clear. I wonder, can this be done in mirror fashion for lefties?
@10rowsaday6 ай бұрын
That's a good question, Vicki. The way the yarn is wrapped around the tools is crucial. You can probably make the wraps with the yarn in your left hand, but make sure the direction of teach wrap is the same - from right to left. Good luck!

I will be trying this to create a foundation chain for Tunisian crochet - I'll just use a crochet hook on each side, so I'll have my loops for my first row on my working hook. I've been struggling using the standard chain method, working in the back loop (spine) of the chain, resulting in a row that ends up too tight and sometimes uneven due to the size of each chain stitch. Cross your fingers that this will work (my fingers will be too busy to cross for myself) - LOL. 😊
