I got to 130 bpm, and my doubles just fall apart. You're absolutely insane with it. I'm going to bookmark this video and keep going until I can hit 200 bpm.

Nice practise!! at higher tempos your left hand stays higher than your right hand and not as loose, also your right it seems working more fingers like french grip, but the left stays to american grip ;)) Keep practising!!

It just turned up on my KZbin home page. I'm always clicking on rudimental playalong stuff, so I'm glad it reached me. Great workout, by the way. If I may suggest: One of the things that has always helped me maintain consistent, even doubles is to start with a single stroke (LR RL LR RL, etc.). It's also good for timing.

@@paulrevelli Thanks Paul! That's a great tip, doubles improve loads by shifting which note you start with on the 1, this workout is great to use with all the double variations RRLL, RLLR, LLRR and LRRL 🥁🥁🥁

@@drumalong4576 I have watched other drum videos about improving double stroke rolls and how to use your hands in a certain way and I find that too complicating and difficult to do. One thing that I do agree with on the other videos is that you do have to let the drum sticks bounce to be able to get the rebounded stroke.

I find it fascinating how your left shoulder lifts and your left elbow drifts to the side when you're doing the double strokes. Might help to check your finger/wrist technique on your left hand.

Why are the slower temps harder hahahah 110-140 is hardest for me. My double bounces aren’t as evenly spaced out as yours they always wanna bounce quicker even though I’m drumming to the bpm.
