Kelly - i must respond. You have some of the best teaching videos I’ve ever used! You are clear, you are not talking all the time - just what is necessary. Your knowledge is abundant and well thought out when you are teaching a weaving process! Your teaching videos are excellent! As someone who could, once upon a time, see it once and do it, I have slowed down as I’ve got older and my brain is getting quite fuzzy these days, so these bright sparks please remember that they too might be grateful for a full patient (and loving) explanation one day! Do please keep doing what you’re doing, and let them just use the advance double tap. Meanwhile I sometimes have to repeat the last 10 secs occasionally! 😊

Dear sweet Kelly, I'm a 64 year old Christian grandma and It hurts my heart to think of you being hurt or disappointed by things people say. You're a very kind-hearted person and an excellent teacher who cares if we are understanding all of the information that you have for us. And if we need extra help, you're there for us. That says a lot about you. If they don't want to listen to all the instructions because they are learning at a faster rate or they are impatient, then they can fast forward. In any case I find that if I do not read or listen to everything in the instructions beforehand, and try to skim through things, I will always make mistakes, which I will have to go back and fix later. So the time I take to listen at the beginning save me lots of time later on. You are wonderful teacher. Keep teaching in the way you have. I don't know what we would do without you and we don't ever want to find out. I feel as if I found a treasure when I happened upon your KZbin channel. Finding another Christian in this big old world is like finding another family member. May God bless you as you serve Him.

I really wish people could just let stuff go. If ya don't like something, move on and find something you do like, or that works better for you, no comment needed. I love the slow, step-by-step instructions. I couldn't afford to buy a $400 loom, so I built my own from scraps, and now I'm learning to use it. Did the same with my spinning wheel, and taught myself to use it this same way, because I also can't afford to buy special yarns at $8-12/skein or ball, when a project takes 5-6 or more balls of yarn. Thank you so much for taking the extra time out of your own days to make these videos and post them for us slow pokes!😁

I so very much appreciate your teaching style, I find it is just what works for me. As a former elementary school teacher (32 years), I saw a wide variety of learning styles in children. As an elementary teacher, I had to teach in many varied ways to include all learners. The beauty of KZbin videos is that we can each find someone whose teaching method we best relate to. I have watched many KZbin videos and there is something special about the way in which you present material that just “clicks” for me. For other podcasters whom I have tried which did not reach me, I thanked them for the video, or just moved on. Saying something unkind is just not acceptable, especially when you put so much work and time into HELPING us. Thank you from a new weaver who very much appreciates what you do. 👍🏻👍🏻

I am 73 years young, and I have taught all sorts of people all sorts of things despite being self-taught in nearly everything. During the teaching I have been able to teach to every one of my students exactly what they wanted to learn. Painting, sewing, stained glass, wire wrapping, paper mâché, even hanging and mudding drywall and so on. Some of them walked away surprised that they could do what they wanted. I have always said, " don't say you can't do something if you haven't tried to do it." During all the teaching, some of my students would pick things up immediately, some a little more effort was needed and for some it was extremely difficult but, in the end, I found a way to show them how to do it without difficulty. Some didn't understand what I was trying to get across so I always tried to look at it from their point of view until I found the correct approach so they could understand. Anyone that doesn't know how to fast forward a video if they are bored with parts of it because they have no consideration for someone else maybe struggling to learn, I wouldn't give them a second thought. My dad always taught people how to do things and I learned his patience and caring and mostly always to pay it forward. You do a wonderful job Kelly. I have done basic weaving but now I have more time to learn, and your videos are my go-to because you are a good teach. Some of them I watch more than once if I am having a problem and some I get right away. Don't ever let anyone try to make you feel less than you are. I find those people to usually suffer from jealousy. Now, smile knowing this old woman appreciates you immensely and thank you for sharing your wonderful videos.

Kelly being a teacher, I have found that many people either are impatient when they think they already know. And others just like to gripe. I really love your school, your videos, and the way you teach. Your detailed way of teaching helps so much. I watch everyone and found I learn more from you than others because of your detailed instruction. I learned to weave many years ago on my floor loom. But the rigid heddle loom was a new experience for me. Also my floor loom is very old and harder for me with an injured body, but I can't just sit and do nothing, so I got a rigid heddle loom. So your instruction on the smaller loom makes It easier at this time and I'm really enjoying what I can do on it. And so much has changed over time it's like learning to weave all over again. Thank You so much.

For me, your teaching style resonates and I value all of the knowledge and encouragement you share on your various platforms. Thank you. For those who post negative criticism here are my thoughts garnered over my lifetime (I am now in my 8th decade of life and learning😆): If you have nothing nice (good, constructive) to say then don’t say anything at all. If you feel that a video or post needs to be different then by all means say so in a positive, constructive manner. I'm sorry some people are saying negative things; I find your lessons to be the best I've ever seen for really explaining and showing one how to do things. If the video is too long for someone, surely they can just advance it to the parts they want to see or stop it when they understand. We have control of our monitors... I do that. I may watch one all the way through and then go try the method and come back and move around in the video to parts I need to see again.

Thank you so much for your wonderful videos and the exacting way you explain things. I’m very new to weaving and I’ve found your videos the most helpful. For those naysayers who say you go to slowly, just tell them to increase the playback speed. It would be a sad loss for them if they missed your terrific teaching style because of a lack of patience or understanding how to use KZbin. I watch your videos multiple times and zip through the stuff I think I know then change back to normal speed for things that I need a bit slower. Please keep doing what you do.

Kelly, I've only watched a few of your videos, and I'm not even a weaver yet. I'm doing research in prep for buying a loom....😅 In any case, your videos are great, and you're so pleasant to listen to ! Please keep going exactly as you are - I look forward to watching more of your videos once I have my loom.

Kelly keep doing what you do so well. Love your tutorials. I like the way you explain things so comprehensively I need that type of tutorial. Try to ignore the naysayers (not easy i know). Sending hugs and positivity Gordon in South Yorkshire UK🤗🤗🤗
