I know saturated fats decrease LDL receptor in the liver, this increased LDL residence time and should increase CVD... like saturated fat mimics FH phenotypes so I agree to limit... but im a little skeptical that sat fat is cause of diabetes... like to me the biochem makes more sense if its an obesity thing, you eat too much then your store lipids and they spill into muscle during liver adipose cycle.. im curious is there data showing that thin people on a low calorie diet.. if you feed them a high fat diet they'll become insulin resistant?

I really want to learn the truth.. but im curious to see evidence suggesting that people become insulin resistant on a low calorie high fat diet? Like in my mind it makes sense that If you eat a ton of calories, fat will be stored and spill into muscle... but im confused.. if you're in shape and exercising and active and eat saturated fats, would you still be insulin resistant?

Same question. According to him, we'd be seeing insulin resistance and diabetes in ALL of the atkins, keto, paleo, and low carb folks. We aren't, which means his assumptions seem way off. If feels like he's seeing the affects of moving from a process food SAD (Standard American Diet) to a whole foods based model. Yeah, you're going to see vast improvements cause you're dropping refined carbs, seed oils, and sugar. All of this is in agreement with the low carb scientific community.

When you exercise, to do a strong muscle contraction and lift heavy weight, this helps your muscle absorb glucose... leg muscle is biggest muscle but for all your muscle if you do heavy strength exercise to do strong powerful muscle contraction, it will strongly help your muscle to take inside glucose molecule, so you will only need to use very little insulin because your muscle contraction help

try it... next time you eat normal food, do very strong exercise so your muscle do very strong muscle contraction... this will help lower your blood glucose... you will still need to use a little bit of insulin, but much less insulin

Are you eating carbohydrates. Change your diet to fat as energy. More energy supplies from fat the less your diabetes is. Dr Bernstein's Diabetes Solution : A Complete Guide To Achieving Normal Blood Sugars for diabetes 1.

I feel like blaming fat for diabetes is what makes it complicated. If this was true, then ALL keto, low carb, paleo folks (including myself) would be developing diabetes and they would be doing it faster than the general public. This isn't happening, in fact the opposite is happening. Low carb "reverses" diabetes, so where's the science on the no fat vegan diet to low carb to show that it's better or even different? Cutting processed foods, sugar, refined grains, and seed oils is where I personally believe the magic is at.

If you watch more of his videos he actually explains all of that he has a video explaining Keto vs plant based. I used to be Keto I have switched to plant based and doing so much better. I'm type 2 diabetic and I'm doing better earing carbs from whole foods vs the low carb high fat on keto

Just watch the videos of Dr David Unwin in the UK. He is a GP and has reversed the T2DM of hundreds of his patients over the last few years using a low carb diet. Saved their lives and saved the NHS 000's of pounds in medication. It works in reality unlike the ideological lies this guy is perpetrating🤨.

@@JoJeck Yes Dr Unwin has the real life statistics to back up the low carb diet. I started low carb 2 months ago and will be getting my blood test done in another month's time. It will be interesting to see what effect the low carb diet has on my blood glucose, cholesterol and liver function. I refused to start any drugs until I tried diet. No good making more than one change at a time otherwise you won't know if the diet alone worked. I don't think I have ever been this eager to get a blood test done! I have had a fatty liver for a long time, with scans to prove it. I hope to get follow up ones done sometime next year.
