Donna. I’ve heard about 30 critics ,but yours is the best. You listened to the whole song which gets the whole feeling and build up. I’ve loved music from many types of music but this vocal was the best I’ve ever heard.

I've lived a music obsessed life, and I consider that to be one of the most spectacular vocal performances of our time. As for what you are dealing with in your country, I will never forget the writing on a popular poster in the US that hang on my wall in the 1960's and 1970's: "War is not healthy for children and other living things." I'm sure you know that your subscribers and other decent human beings are wishing for you to remain safe.

Now, as for Sydnie Christmas, I've been obsessed with watching reactions to Syd's performances. Your reactions are wonderful. Also, don't be worried about being tongue tied after her My Way. In most of the reaction videos I've watched, most people have been stuttering and confused afterwards. I can also relate to those reactions because it happens to me as well. Her Album dropped a week ago, and every song is more inspirational than the last. Not surprisingly, it is called My Way, and I am very partial to Sydie's take on Impossible Dream. "I don't know how to say it" is the ONLY way to say it.

Yes, her three BGT song titles you've spotted now: till she got that audition she has been ignored by all of London's West End theatres...., even after being a back up for Starlight Express, in Bochum, yes in Germany. Now, you'll find her singles of this song and Over the Rainbow, plus the lyric video of Starlight Express, commissioned by Andrew Lloyd Webber himself. Also her full album has just been released last week: it tells her story of her downs and her dreams now being fulfilled. It can be downloaded from her Instagram profile to your platform of choice or the CD ordered. Her genuine profile is with her full name and 155k followers now; it was just 110k, before the BGT final at the beginning of June! Her GB tour is in Feb next year (she can't make Belfast this time), and she's going to David Foster's 75th birthday party, to sing this song, after he saw this video and invited her over. End of Nov she's in the Royal Variety Performance, too, on TV near Christmas time.

I agree with your comment that Sydnie needs her own musical/Broadway/West end production. She reminds me of the amazing vocal talent of Lucy Thomas. I'd love for you to listen to Lucy's singing. She impressed people so much that a musical was written for her - Rosie. I absolutely loved Sydnie's interpretation of My Way - the power and the emotion from P to FF was wonderful. I had to hold back tears while we were transported to Sydnie's world.

I have watched a number of Sydnie's pre-BGT performances, but her voice in that era was not the incredible voice she exhibited for BGT and beyond, as if she finally found her true voice when she left musical theater behind, when she had to just be herself for once, breaking away somewhat from her acknowledged low self-esteem. Finally, she was true to her talent, able to sing what she wanted, the way she wanted. She should be destined for the concert stage, so perhaps her upcoming tour will confirm that for her.

Now, I commented on your page about Sydnie's first performance and i thought that it was flawless. This time I was watching your reactions Dounia, and I am absolutely amazed at how you held it together. By the time she was into the last part of the song, I was in tears. The notes she hits are absolutely alien! And that is the best thing! Her clarity and power is beyond measure. Dounia, it was energetic & spiritual. she's tuned into her self. But she reminds me of the vocal colour & texture of Dimash in some ways & Michael Bublé. She's using alot of mouth shape resonance. She creates circular tonal sound waves.

This is a really nice reaction video. I've watched a number of reaction videos to her performances, but you made technical observations I had not heard elsewhere. Interesting. Her control and voice are amazing. She does make us feel the song, but her acting ability is part of it. She belongs on a theater stage. BGT has had some really good singers, but there are 2 where I really noticed the way their facial expressions, body language and gestures showed they were sort of living the songs and not just vocalizing. Beau Dermott, a 12 year old, singing "Defying Gravity" who got a Golden Buzzer from Amanda, and 15 year old Sarah Ikumu, who got one from Simon for singing "And I'm Telling You".

I saw one of her interviews, she was asked what she's going to do with the Prize money, would she buy a car, take a trip? She said no, she's going to hire a vocal coach and keep working to get better. Now that's someone whose passion is singing!!
