How has this been four years? Such an informative and entertaining camera review. This is what sealed the deal for me deciding to buy an A7iii and with no regrets. Great to see y'all still going at it and off to new adventures. Thanks Chris and Jordan!

You took the words right out of my mouth. I went from a canon rebel XSi to a sony a7ii after watching the camerastore review of it, but after seeing this video I knew I had to switch to the a7iii and I never looked back. Glad to see other people going through the same experience/revelation lol

My thoughts exactly. The grading, framing, audio, tripod & gimbal use - everything feels really on-point. Even the scripting feels better-paced and more on topic, but there's still humor. I sincerely hope every video hits this level of polish.

Hey Chris and Jordan, I've been a subscriber to the Camera store TV for years, I'm a filmmaker and I've loved watching your videos for reviews on lenses and cameras. Having seen so much of your stuff, this new video is the highest quality I've seen. It's obvious you guys have a bit more time to make your videos (like you said in your stream), and it really shows. Congrats on the new move, I think this is going to be a great partnership for you and DPreview which I knew about but never really visited. I'm subscribed now and I'm really looking forward to the new videos you guys will make. Bravo, and hopefully the subscribers shoot up like a rocket.

I don’t know why, but every now and then, I come back and watch this episode again. This video was one of the reasons I pulled the trigger an the a7iii in December 2018. 2.5 years later, I’m still very happy with the camera. Sure I’d love the extra resolution that the a7riv offers or the video features the a7siii has, but for an amateur, this is still plenty of camera and I imagine I’ll stick with it until the a7iv comes out and probably longer. BTW, you guys rock. By far the best camera channel on KZbin!

Nikon Z6 or Panasonic GH5 ?..Which one is better for photography tutorials ? as I also have photography channel in India and now thinking of upgrading my gears for KZbin videos. Great content ..love your videos
@MatthewSaville6 жыл бұрын
1.) It's DPRers. 2.) It never ceases to amaze me that people just don't understand how folks like you thrive on being as unbiased as possible when producing a review. It's a sacred thing, to be able to produce content, whether reviews or tutorials, in which you can express your thoughts completely unrestricted. Oppositely, when someone is just flat-out pimping a product that they were given for free in exchange for review, (and that's the best-case scenario; it gets worse from there) ...then viewers can smell it from a mile away. So, kudos to you guys for scoring this gig. I'm honestly jealous! Keep up the good (and entirely unbiasned) content.

Chris Niccolls yeah...to me , the main reason to tune in to TCSTV was your bluntness..your honesty..and the fun. ;) There's no BS. And you are good at what you do. Now.., you've got to raise the bar ! This video is a good start ;). It shows!, that little bit more care (and time to be able to care, off course) and one can already see where you're aiming to improve . Cheers from Portugal . Keep those videos coming.

And suggestions?? Well...Do more run-down-comparisons in-between brands _
@MatthewSaville6 жыл бұрын
Agreed, as a product reviewer myself, the number one thing that seems to be missing from most others' reviews is a sufficient amount of "alternative options" comparisons. Most of the time, unfortunately, this is because either the reviewer simply hasn't had much experience with the full range of options, or they don't want to displease whoever "supported" the review.

Very good. Maybe throw in a quick bit of science from the DPReview guys on some of the features of new cameras. Some of us are fine with reading 10 page dissertations of how Back Side Illumination works and affects the sensor capabilities, but a quick 30 second run down of the basics would be helpful for many people. You could even have somebody at DPReview record it and edit it into the show.
