You don't want to buy this. Its full of erythritol, and very little monk fruit. Erythritol is a corn alcohol, that is destructive to your liver. What you want is pure monk fruit, not blends. That is what I use and it tastes awesome with no after taste. However, it is on the costly side, but a little does go a long way. 1/16 of a teaspoon = 1 teaspoon.

Where did you see that erythritol is destructive to your liver? I've never seen that and I have been using monkfruit and erythritol for a long time....

I think that you're confusing alcohol such as ethanol with sugar alcohols. Sugar alcohols have been shown to be a bit problematic for your gut bacteria is you use too much of them but I haven't seen any major connection to liver disease. You may be thinking of the alcohol in liquor.

It's best to use the pure monk fruit sweetener mixed with nothing. Shame on this country that always mixing nonsense with monk sweetener. I listened to a doctor from Singapore that says they cannot recommend that monk sweetener is better than pure sugar based on their studies. It showed that monk sugar raises the blood sugar higher after serving a bowl of vegetable fry rice than the regular pure sugar cane

They should not study it with rice after you drink the monk fruit sugar drink. Not every Health conscious person will consume monk fruit sugar with carb like rice. Or eating white rice at all. Not me.

I’ve tested my blood sugar after monk fruit with erythritol and it didn’t have any effect on me. Tastes fine with no aftertaste. True, erythritol can mess with your lower gut, so start slowly and build it up.

Okay. So no mention of the fact that this brand processes the monk fruit and blends it with erythritol (alcohol sugar) so that it looks like white table sugar. This makes it easier to swap out cane sugar in recipes for baked goods. I did not see an option on their website for a version of 100% pure Monk Fruit, which in my opinion, is much better and can be purchased on Amazon if you cannot find it in stores. Many people are sensitive to alcohol sugars. They can cause gastrointestinal upset and diarrhea so that is really important information to provide. This was obviously sponsored by one brand. Important to do your research and not just take a "health expert" opinion.
