On allulose, I'm still on research level. Im still trying to make peace with being mostly derived from corn crystalline fructose. I am guessing, then, that you should stay away from the Coconut flour. I am doing Keto-Carnivore and so no flour of any kind in my diet now. Any noun suffixed by -ose is a sugar, e.g. glucOSE, fructOSE, allulOSE, sucrOSE etc. Any noun suffixed by -ol is an alcohOL like ErithytOL. Becareful with sugar alcohols because the intestinal bacteria feast on them and therefore multiply and grow, causing gut issues if too much. It is possible, I am guessing, if you eat too much sugar, even Allulose, the gut bacteria also multiply and grow by them feasting on that, causing gut issues if too much. i put Allulose in my coffee, 2 to 3 teaspoons, and no gut issues.

Raw Honey has a lot of other things going on so i would put it up there at least with the molasses. Some of the positive components and properties that raw honey offers: Antioxidants: Raw honey contains a variety of antioxidants, including flavonoids and phenolic acids, which help neutralize free radicals and may reduce oxidative stress in the body. Antibacterial and Antimicrobial Properties: Thanks to its natural enzymes (like glucose oxidase), raw honey can inhibit the growth of certain bacteria and pathogens. This property makes it a popular natural remedy for minor wounds and burns. Phytonutrients: These are plant compounds found in raw honey that can provide both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. They contribute to the overall protective health effects of honey. Enzymes: Raw honey contains beneficial enzymes that can aid in digestion and support overall metabolic health. Vitamins and Minerals: Although present in small amounts, raw honey supplies trace amounts of vitamins (such as B vitamins) and minerals (including calcium, potassium, magnesium, and iron), contributing to its nutritional value. Prebiotic Properties: The natural sugars in raw honey can serve as prebiotics, which help nourish beneficial gut bacteria and promote a healthy digestive system. Anti-inflammatory Effects: The combination of antioxidants and phytonutrients in raw honey can help reduce inflammation, which is a key factor in many chronic health conditions. Soothing and Healing Properties: Often used as a natural remedy for sore throats and coughs, raw honey's soothing texture and antimicrobial properties can help relieve irritation and support recovery from infections.

Good list. Only issue is at present there are absolutely no US manufacturers (not distributors with a US based address) for both Allulose and Monk Fruit. It's all 100% China, in the case of allulose mostly from pharmaceutical factories in China. If that's an important consideration for anyone out there, it is for me. Monk fruit makes perfect sense to be exclusively China since it's exclusively grown in China around Guang Xi mostly. Hoping that in time we'll see a 100% US based allulose manufacturer.

Wow! That's great news because I've been using Allulose for several years. It's expensive but to me it is my go-to replacement for honey, which I love, and I've used all my life until I switched over to Keto. However, since I reached my target weight and have kept off the excess pounds for a year and a half, I've added honey to my Allulose to give it a better honey-like flavor for my coffee when I want a dessert drink with milk. I bought the Allulose with the 'honey' flavor added but it had a terrible chemical aftertaste. Even worse in coffee. It was even more expensive than necessary too. Corporate Rip-off if you ask me. So, I made my own. By using actual unfiltered honey to flavor my Allulose, I can enjoy the flavor of honey and the benefits of Allulose. Sparingly, of course. One tablespoon of unfiltered honey in an 11-ounce bottle of Allulose will do the trick adequately. I get the honey flavor without the glucose spike!

I had a problem with some Allulose because, unbeknownst to me, the brand I bought was made from corn instead of figs. After eating homemade cranberry sauce during the holidays, made with allulose, my doctor 'read me the riot act' because a blood test showed my liver enzymes highly elevated (we were trying to resolve my fatty liver). You may put stevia down on your list, but I haven't found anything yet, except for liquid stevia, that won't raise my liver enzymes. Sticking with stevia.

@krisyoung4476 ай бұрын
I'm surprised you put Stevia below Molasses which has a glycemic index of 55 as opposed to 0 for Stevia. I'll have to do research on Stevia and damage to gut biome. This is a first for me. As for the bitterness, Sweetleaf brand mixes it with inulin (fiber) to tame it quite well. I have found that using a very, very, very small amount of 100% stevia is still very sweet yet, not bitter. If I use too much, it becomes bitter. You need to find the fine line with it. Anyway, I guess I'll look into Allulose.

As rice syrup is made by the fermentation of either white or brown rice and the sugars produced do not contan fructose, I thought it was a reasonable alternative to white sugar if used in moderation. Also could we pressure steam the rice syrup to deactivate any remaining lectins?

Also while I love the idea of allulose after experiencing an increase in my pain from eating it I started looking into it and it seems like it’s derived from corn which I know causes a severe increase in my pain when I cut the allulose back out my pain got better so if someone has a corn allergy maybe stay away

@@ethimself5064 Safe? It depends. It dilates blood vessels, and very suddenly. This is unsafe if you have low blood pressure, and many athletes do. If you have a heart condition this could be bad. Food products for the public should safe for the public and the public includes athletes and people with medical conditions. I think erythritol should have a warning label.

I have been using monkfruit, stevia and Manuka honey but I’m going to rethink the last two and try blackstrap molasses. I’m having trouble funding Allulose unfortunately.

@@leesoftley2685 - Allulose has not been approved by the FDA in Canada. It's banned from sale in Canada.....unfortunately. I've bought Allulose from the US. Fantastic stuff. It's dropped by blood sugars by an average of 2 points. As a type 1 diabetic, I will take any help I can get.

We have Allulose, Mon Fruit, Species, Sucralose and Xylitol. I use Xylitol for Xylitol Pulling after oil Pulling to get rid of cavities and preventing them. I usually mix the other sweeteners in different ways for Icings, Fillings, Baking, Cooking, Drinks, Puddings, Ice-Cream, Milk Shakes and No Bake Cream Pies. I will start to rework my recipes and try to narrow down to just Allulose and Monk Fruit. Certain things must taste like normal, or they just taste like fakes. No Bake Cream Pies Puddings & Fillings & Icings Pancakes & Waffles Southeast Asian Glazes Donuts & Muffins Ice Creams & Milk Shakes Teas & Coffees Other Low carb Things like Ham Glaze, Sweet Bread Rolls, Baked Pies, Lemon and or Lime Aides, Baked Cakes and Baked Puddings I can work to alter some. I will put an effort into doing the Gundry on my Recipes. 👍

What you showed for honey needs to be expanded. "Pure" honey does not mean much, and a lot of supermarket honey is adulterated. Personally I think only RAW honey should be considered.
